Okay; if you’ve been reading me for any amount of time, you know how I feel about mugs for teacher gifts. Here, let me refresh your memory:

And while I am not recanting my position on that, the reality remains that sometimes people like to give mugs for gifts. To teachers, or to other people. If you absolutely, positively feel that you must give someone a mug (maybe they’re very thirsty, and you’re just that sort of humanitarian), it needs to be a really exceptional mug, wouldn’t you agree?

Thanks for posting this for me!
My husband gave me a Pearl mug and the same shape in a travel mug from here the Christmas my daughter was 7 months old, and I maintain that these mugs are the ONLY way I get to drink an entire cup of HOT coffee as opposed to luke warm or ick cold.

A couple of those mugs are so pretty! I’m wondering how to get people to buy ME one for Christmas. Do you suppose sending out an email with the link is too direct?

These mugs would fit nicely in my combination USB hub/beverage warmer, but they wouldn’t work in the microwave in the teachers’ lounge.
