I daresay today is the culmination of a frenzy of bargain-hunting and last-minute gift getting. Me, I’m done. Done. I’d like to take some time off from shopping and just, I don’t know, rest.

(But I would also like a maid and a billion dollars; sometimes we don’t get what we want.)

Anyway, I can’t skip the Amazon Friday Sale. I’m pretty sure that would be un-American. Besides, I flipped open the sale and beheld an omen.

That’s right. Right there—staring me in the face!—was the MIR scarf. (Hey, it’s cashmere!)

This looks interesting (great reviews and 56% off) especially for the post-sugarplum season. Nothing says “I had a merry Christmas” like shiny teeth! (Okay, that may have been reaching, just a little.)

There’s that Circulon set again, under $140 after coupon HOHOSAVE. I would tell you what I paid for my Circulon back in the day, but I don’t want to start crying. (Seriously? $140? That’s an insane deal.)

Anyway, poke around if you’re so inclined. Me, I have some wrapping to do….

   I have to put in a plug for that Circulon stuff. I don’t cook but for some strange reason, I bought the set during the last sale. They are AMAZING!!!! I can’t believe the difference!

My MIL was buying me a Kitchenaid mixer for my birthday last night and even though I thought it was only for the sale items (what can I say, I’ve been buried under my own home projects and baking), I tried it, and saved her another $25!!!    I just ordered a refurb KA Artisan using the coupon AND free shipping. I wasn’t going to do it because I have the 4 1/2 quart, but I am constantly fudging with 9 cup flour recipes because the 4 1/2 is –>
