If you’ve been reading me for any time at all, you know that I pretty much loathe rebates. I do my best to avoid deals that hinge on rebates, because I think most rebates end up never coming. However, I’ve had a few people tell me they haven’t had difficulty with rebates at Linens ‘N’ Things, so I am going to suspend my disbelief for this particular deal. I had dh whip by the store this morning to pick up the toaster oven and blender. We avoided the delay and expense of shipping!
December 30th, 2006 at 2:18 pmIf you don’t have a Toaster oven, this is a great time ot add one to your kitchen. I use mine all the time. Great for preparing meals for just my son, for just me and my husband, or cooking a small side item at a different temp than what you have your regular oven set to. All that and toast.

I just bought a new one, and I’m picking it up at my local store. Wonder if it’ll be ready by tomorrow morning, or if I have to wait until 2007 to get it…

December 30th, 2006 at 9:26 pmNothing at all to do with this particular rebate, but my husband bought me the new Miami Ink cell phone for Christmas (but gave it to me way early because he couldn’t wait). It had a rebate and we actually got it the other day. BUT then I saw the cell phone at a store and they were offering it FOR FREE!!!! So, my poor husband tried really hard to get me “a deal” because he knows how much I like them, but apparently failed because he could have gotten the phone for free somewhere else. At least he tried, but I’m going to need to send him to the wise and very pretty Mir to learn more.
