I’m not really lucid in the morning until I’ve had my tea, and it has nothing to do with the caffeine. It’s just my little ritual that signals my brain that it is, in fact, time to wake up.
Now you can get some free tea, and even grow your own tea! This would be fun for the kids, but heck, growing stuff is fun no matter what your age. So go get your very own Herbal Expedition Kit and shine up your green thumb.

I grew a few herbs on my deck last summer. For planters, I used cappuccino mugs.
Planting “tea” in cappuccino mugs sounds just about perfect.

I am so excited that we are finally in our own house!. We even have a nice deck… I can’t wait to plant some fun stuff!! Please begin praying now that I am able to keep it alive.

Warning: Plant the mint ONLY in a pot, preferably with the drainage holes blocked by a piece of screening. Mint spreads by runners underground and will take over your entire yard and swallow you whole if you don’t keep it in check.
(But it is yummy and very good in iced tea.)
