oh, thank you for posting this! I’ve been needing something big enough to cook a megapot of borscht in, and I’ve also been needing an ovenproof pot! and at an awesome price PLUS I have a guilt-free way of adding a book in? it’s like Christmas all over again.

Damn. I waited — wanted to confer with the hubby on whether we needed it — and now the price has doubled to $39.99. Still a good deal, at least based on the original price of $100, but nowhere near as good. I should know better by now . . .

Um, it says it should be hand-washed, but I put it in the dishwasher all the time. Do not tell.

Oh, Mir! Mwaaah! I’ve been wanting a dutch oven for a long time. Amazon had another one on a special deal last November, I waited too long and lost it, so this time, I jumped on it, and got one. Thanks. Hurrah!
