Here’s a handy little deal if you shop at Disney: Buy a Mix Stick or Game iT and get a $25 gift card code emailed to you next month. It looks to me like the Mix Sticks are running about $29.99 and the Game iTs are $24.99, so—depending on what you choose—you’re pretty much just paying shipping and getting your purchase cost back.
Want in? Head on over to the Disney Outlet and click on the promotional banner (or go to the Electronics section) and get shopping.
If there’s one thing I like better than a sale at Disney, it’s a sale that also gives me a gift card. It’s like Christmas! In April!

Seems like it’s been a while since the last woot-off at woot! came around. But they’re having one today!
I’ve never bought anything from a woot-off, but I have wasted more time than I’ll admit just watching the items go by and reading the descriptions (which are uniformly hilarious). Several tech-heads I know swear by the woot-off as the golden opportunity for cheap gear, though.

They’re having a big sale at Graveyard Mall right now, and it runs—and I quote—”4/25 - ??/??.” They’re descriptive and precise, over there.
Use coupon code aprilsale to take 40% off your $75+ order.
If you’ve never shopped Graveyard Mall before, brace yourself for a bare-bones shopping experience. On the bright side, they often have things you want for rock-bottom prices. On the less-than-bright side, they have zero customer service and take a long time to ship. Which can be fine, but know what you’re getting into.
For example… I’ve never had King Leo peppermints before, but I’ve heard people rave about them. And they have two different kinds in the clearance section. I don’t imagine peppermint ever goes stale, so that’d probably still be fine. The price is certainly right….

Some friends of ours had a baby yesterday, and—as I am wont to do—as soon as I heard the news I ran on over to Amazon to look for a gift. Just a little something, you understand, to staunch my overwhelming feelings of squishy little baby joy until we can visit and bring a proper gift.
I ended up with a few little somethings, of course, because the prices were good and I couldn’t resist. Need a baby gift? Take a look at these.
Shoes for babies are stupid. Babies do not need shoes. But babies totally need adorable socks
.
Chichi
! Okay, that’s for a girl. How about these jungle chichis
for boys, instead?
Or, his
and hers
little feeding sets! Don’t they just make your teeth hurt, with their cuteness?? (Amazon doesn’t have a description, but after some hunting around I discovered that large plastic thing is a 3-compartment divided dish with lid. The small plastic thing is a spoon cover. And while I was getting that information, all of my teeth fell out. Honest.)
Oh, just go look at all the baby stuff by iPlay
, because most of it’s on sale and it’s all so cute your ovaries will beg for mercy.

Ordered from Lands’ End lately? If you have, check your email. They’re sending out free shipping codes (with unique PINs) to customers. Because they’re pretty, there, at Lands’ End.
I was also reminded by pretty reader Bec today that in the Overstocks section there’s still a pretty good assortment of women’s bathing suits under “Not Quite Perfect.” This might be a good time to go have a look, for the dreaded bathing suit season is nearly upon us.
As sad as it makes me to bare my thighs for anyone, I do pink puffy heart my Lands’ End swimsuits. Worth every single penny, as swimsuits are one of the things I will always advocate spending a little extra on. It’s not a savings if you won’t wear it or it’s trash at the end of the first season. I’ve had one for 5 years and another for a year and they’re both still going strong.

Did you miss out on the Allure Fun in the Sun Kit, yesterday? Don’t despair!
Why not check out the Sephora Sun Safety Kit, a $67 value for $22? True, it’s not the tremendous smokin’ deal that the Allure box is, but it’s great products at a decent price. And what’s more, Sephora is donating 100% of the net profits from the sales of these kits to the Skin Cancer Foundation. You want justification? There you go! Great products for a worthy cause.

I’ve never understood why stores like to refer to large sales as liquidations. I mean, I know what they mean, but my inner 10-year-old boy hears “liquidation” and thinks “liquefy(cation),” and then I picture the entire store awash in a tidal wave. As I’m sure everyone else does.
(You… don’t? It’s just me? Oh. Alrighty then. Hey, look over there! Something shiny!)
Anyway, you can call it a liquidation or you can just call it a really big sale, but SmartBargains has just about everything marked down
. There’s even some designer shoes in a $12.98 section (be still, my heart). There’s lots of small electrics and other stuff, too. You might want to check it out.
But wear your raincoat! Hahahaha! (Still just me? Okay, then.)

Surely you’re reading Melissa’s excellent posts over at the Buzz Off, but if for some reason you’re not, she’s got a post on cool stuff you can win for Mother’s Day up right now. Go! Enter! Win!
And then share. It’s only polite.

I have a real love/hate relationship with Chadwick’s. I can’t figure them out. I’ve gotten a few things there that I love; well-made, natural fibers, relatively cheap basics. And then other times I see stuff in their catalog or online that make me wonder whose grandma is buying that stuff. But thanks to Nani for alerting me to some sale action that’s going on there right now.
(This preface is to say, don’t assume there’s nothing there for you if you’ve seen a few things you didn’t care for, because they’re not entirely consistent and, also, SALE!)
Here’s a few coupons for you if you want to go check them out:
CHAPRIL2 — take 30% off one item
CH3FREE — buy 2 items, get 1 free (can be used for up to 4 free items!)
CHAPRIL4 — take $20 off your $200+ order
EDITED TO ADD: CHLAST will apparently give you 40% off and free shipping on one item (although folks are reporting it can be used more than once), but I don’t know how long this one will work.
Additional info: Coupons cannot be stacked, so figure out which one gives you the best discount and go for it. All of these codes expire on April 30th, 2007. Steer clear of the polyester, elastic-waist pants.
