Archive for August, 2007

As much as I love the frequency of Restaurant.com codes, I’ll confess I’m running out of new and different things to say about them. Because it’s discounted restaurant certificates, and coming up with something new to add every couple of weeks when they do a new code is haaaaaaaard.
(Yes, it is tiresome being me. Why do you ask?)
Anyway, go on over to Restaurant.com and through August 31st you can use coupon code COAST to take 60% off and get a free $10 certificate with every order. That’s $35 worth of eating out for just $4.
Really, do I need to say anything else?

Go get yours, and “eat mor chiken.” (Why yes, I do find the campaign of cows advertising for Chik-fil-A to be hilarious; why do you ask?)

Not only is there a ton of inventory on clearance over at Jos. A. Bank right now, but through today you can use coupon code PFD87 to take an additional 50% off those items. Hey, it works on regular-price stuff, too, but I know you want the biggest bang for your buck.
I know I post about this place fairly often; they have classic, quality menswear at decent prices when you get it on sale like this. Good stuff all around.
So go on—make him look like a million bucks without spending that much.

Remember this post about getting a customized mousepad on the cheap? (I’ll refresh your memory: It’s at ArtsCafe.) There’s lots of other products there, and I for one was waffling because I wanted the business card holder but the code from my first post only gave free shipping on that, and I wasn’t sure I wanted to pay, and…
… sometimes procrastination pays off. Code SRDW99 gives you many of those items (including the business card holder, and some others, but I’m not sure which all it includes) for just $1.99 plus the $3 shipping. So I got my card holder for $5 shipped, which was very reasonable I think. Also, coupon code SRDW99 appears to take some money off the more expensive items for which the other coupon doesn’t work. Again, I’m not entirely sure what works and what doesn’t—play around and see—but it’s a great selection of personalized items at very reasonable prices.

I see… a house covered in little yellow notes in your future. But! I also see a young child gaining mastery of the written word.
Now which is more important, your decor or your kid’s brain? That’s what I thought.
Go get a free sample and see for yourself. (Thanks, Linda!)

Seems like I’ve been posting silverware a lot, lately, but maybe August is Flatware Clearout Month. I have no idea. Plus, I don’t know if anyone has mentioned this, but pudding is not a finger food. I’m just sayin’.
Just in case any of the other sets I’ve posted lately haven’t struck your fancy, you can get Oneida Banbury service for 12
for 70% off or Oneida Tangent service for 8
for 88% off right now. (Lots of other Oneida’s on sale, too—do a search if neither of those do it for you.)
(No, I don’t know what silverware would actually do for you. It’s a figure of speech. Also, it’s early. Leave me alone.)

Every now and then I think about getting a photo printer, and then I take a look at the prices and have an aneurysm or I see something shiny and wander off. But check it out: Right now you can get the HP Photosmart D5160 Photo Printer
for $34.99 and free shipping. For comparison purposes, the same printer
is nearly $80 at Amazon. (Great reviews, though—check it out.)

I prefer my flowers hand-delivered, but if you can’t do it yourself, at least you should send them for less. Take $15 off your FTD order through that there link, and let someone know that you think they deserve overpriced greenery (keep the discount a secret; I won’t tell if you don’t).

Hey, I think one of my ads is for these chips, and now you can try them for free because I’m a full service blog like that.

Today and tomorrow (August 20th and 21st) you can take 50% off your order at Restaurant.com with coupon code MEMBER. That gets you a $25 certificate for just $5, which according to my brilliant grasp of new math translates into ordering dessert. (You have to carry the five to get there, but trust me, it works out.)
