If you’re wii-hunting

Alright, here’s the deal: I’m going to be in meetings most of the afternoon, but I wanted to give you a head’s up on some scuttlebutt I came across.

Supposedly Amazon is going to be releasing a new shipment of wii consoles today (October 31st) at 1:00 pm Eastern. Is it true? Well, I’m not sure, but I did read it in several different locations, so I think there’s a decent chance that yes, it is.

If it is true, that there link above should take you to ‘em. And then you can be a much nicer parent than I am, because my children are going to be remaining the only children on the planet (so they contend) who are not getting a wii for Christmas this year.

    Also, for when those run out, I went to my local Gamestop and they had plenty in stock. They don’t have them online, but apparently they have them actually in the store.

    Mir, your kiddos won’t be the only ones without a Wii – my three (husband included!) won’t, either. It’s just not something we “need” right now. Plus my kiddos are only 6 and 4, but they still think they “need” things like this! Great price though!

    Interesting though, once you put the Wii in your Amazon shopping cart and go to checkout, it says it will ship in 4-6 weeks…

    I got mine at the local Gamestop too. I also saw some at my local Target. Maybe it’s hit or miss, depending on the city you live in.

    We had no luck at local stores, but then found it at walmart.com one day last month — you just have to keep checking, I guess.

    FYI ours arrived today, as we have 2-day shipping w/ our Prime membership. Now I have to find a place to hide this until dh’s birthday – maybe with the dirty dishes? The laundry? I know he won’t check those places! LOL
