Archive for October, 2007

(I need to stop with the alliteration thing, I know. But it’s a beautiful day outside, and my husband has returned after a long week away, and I’m a bit giddy.)
This weekend only (expires October 28th, 2007, around noon) you can take $15 off your $150+ purchase at Overstock through that there link. (Bonus! If you’ve been looking for a deal on a Dyson, clicking here will give you an extra $35 off their regular price (and no, the two coupons cannot be combined, but this one is slightly better if it’s the Dyson you’re after).
Oh! I love these, and want to buy them for everyone I know! Because I am a gigantic dork! But really, who doesn’t need some Lego drink coasters
for under $5? I mean, seriously. (Lots of other goodies on clearance there at the Lego site, too.)
I know some of you are big fans of Darling Shoes for baby shoes. Pretty reader Jodi was kind enough to send along coupon code CITY85 which is good through November 11th, 2007, for 85% off regular-priced items. Thanks, Jodi!
More baby goodness: Check out Maggie and Alison for custom-made bibs, burpies, and blankies—super-cute stuff to be had, there—and then as a special for all my pretty readers, you can use coupon code wantnot to take 15% off your total order (code valid through December 15th, 2007). Shipping starts at just $3, too.
Need some winter gear? Altrec is having their semi-annual winter sale
with prices up to 50% off.
Just a reminder: You still have through the end of the month to use coupon code TREATS to take 70% off your certificate order at Restaurant.com. $25 of dining for $3! That’s spooktacular! (Okay, I think that may be my cue to step away from the computer….)

I am too tired from this week even to go the extra mile required for a pithy title. Now that is saying something.
Regardless, I shall rally for the Amazon Friday Sale, because I am a trooper like that.
The fact that these HyLoft bins
are 69% off and described as “hammertone” now has me humming “Can’t Touch This.” You’re welcome.
Need some luxury bath towels
for a not-so-luxury price?
This red Kong
is a good filler if you’re needing a little something to get your order up over $25 for free shipping, plus it’s a must-have if you like to torment your dog. (Stuff it with peanut butter and watch him go crazy. Yeah, I’m that sort of pet owner; rather, I was when I still had a dog.) (Hey, at least I used to take care of my dog. With this automatic pet dish
you don’t have to pay any attention at all!)
Need some solar lights
for your driveway or walkway?
What I want to know is, will this Euro Pro sewing machine
make me hate sewing less? Because I would pay for that.
Going camping? Or just always very cold? You need some fleece sheets
. Toasty!
Oh look; my Apollo GoLite
is on sale again. If you or someone in your family suffers from SAD, I cannot recommend this light highly enough. It was worth every penny for us, and replaced my old-style light box which was a giant behemoth. This sits on the edge of the kitchen table, out of the way, and has a program for me and a program for my daughter. I love it.
If you buy one of these
, I want a video of you using it. Wait, no I don’t. Yes, I do.
Still need an ice cream maker
? This is the one I used to own (that was broken in my move). It’s a great machine. (Now I sort of wish I hadn’t replaced mine with the Cuisinart one, but we’ve had ice cream a bunch of times since I did, so I’ll try not to complain.)
The holidays are coming, and this McMuffin machine
that was so hot last year is now half price (and has 237 overwhelmingly positive reviews). I tell you what—they throw in a butler with that and I’m sold.
Happy Friday, everyone!

Remember this, which I carefully prefaced by saying that Lands’ End doesn’t offer coupons? Apparently that last free shipping special went over so well, they’ve decided to do it again!
Click here to get your free shipping and PIN codes
, then enjoy free shipping on any size order at Lands’ End through October 29th, 2007. This can be used on anything, including Overstocks, which means you can snag some great deals. (Must. Resist. Cute. Children’s. Clothes….)

So I guess in honor of Halloween, Sierra Trading Post is doing a week of treats on their site through the end of the month. I forgot to post this yesterday (sorry!) but today the treat is at least 70% off everything in the Bargain Barn.
(Also, don’t forget! You can still get 10% off your $79+ order!)

Seems like I haven’t mentioned anything specific from Linens ‘N’ Things lately, but hopefully you’re remembering to check them periodically, because the Deal of the Day changes every day (duh…) and always ships for free. Which is pretty cool.
However, now you can also take 25% off your order with coupon code FFOCT07 as part of their Friends and Family promotion. The code is valid through October 28th, 2007, only. Go find some clearance and make me proud!

I hope you don’t have anything you need to get done today that could possibly interfere with sitting at the computer, transfixed, during today’s Woot Off.
A person has to have priorities, you know.

If you live out in the country like I do, you may be wondering what to read to that pack of deer that show up in your yard every night, or to the squirrel who’s been snacking on your deck. But wonder no more! Very pretty reader Chrissy reports that if you go right on over here you can get a free 3-year subscription to Living the Country Life magazine! That’s one magazine a quarter for a total of 12 issues. Thanks, Chrissy!
(Don’t worry; animals tend to be slow readers and it’ll take the whole quarter to get through each issue.)

The prices are generally great at Boscovs but the shipping can be a bit much, which is why it’s always exciting when they bring back free shipping on $50+. That doesn’t apply to furniture or other things that need to ship a special way, but it’s good on most everything else, including their outrageous clearance markdowns, so there are definitely deals to be had.
But it’s only good “for a limited time” (how limited? they don’t say!) so shop early.

(Sorry if you happened to catch the last post. My bad. Will do more research, next time.)
Moving on!
Doing some shopping at Eddie Bauer? You can use coupon code HRH07 for 20% off through November 12th, 2007. (It will not work on items in the outlet, just the main site.) Thanks, Elizabeth!

Hey, it’s been, like, days since I posted a Restaurant.com coupon!
But it’s end-of-the-month madness, so use coupon code TREATS to take 70% off your purchase through October 31st, 2007. That’ll get you $25 worth of dining for just $3, which is a treat indeed.
(And yeah, it seems like October was particularly coupon-y for them. I don’t know why.)
