… but the price certainly seems to be.
Looking for Halo 3 Legendary Edition for your Xbox 360? Run on over to Amazon; right now it’s just $59.99 with free shipping.
And a… umm… glowy thing. Don’t forget the glowy thing!

Maybe you checked it out last week, but a new week brings with it another half-dozen shirts; the Threadless Holiday Sale continues apace, so get your $10 t-shirts while the getting is good.
(They put up new shirts today just to taunt me, as my package from last week’s order just arrived this afternoon….)

Hey, guess what! Go on, guess!
If you guess it’s Cyber Monday at Macy’s, you’re right! And they’re offering automatic free shipping on orders of $75+. Just use coupon code BIGDAY at checkout.
I’m looking at some of those Doorbuster cashmere deals, but only in the theoretical sense. I’m done shopping. (Maybe someone who likes me will buy me some cashmere, though. A girl can dream.)

Looks like there’s some new deals over at Buy.com, if you didn’t already find what you needed during their Thanksgiving Sale, or their Black Friday Sale, or their Day After Black Friday Sale, or their Day Before Cyber Monday Sale.
They’ve got one of those mini-RC helicopters for $16.99, which I gather is a great price. (I don’t really know. All I see is something guaranteed to land in someone’s eye.)
(Stay tuned! Maybe tomorrow they’ll do a Now We’re Just Making Days Up Sale!)

I try very hard not to recommend (or buy) products from Walmart owing to a general difficulty I have with their corporate philosophy, but sometimes, the deal triumphs.
Today only, one of their Cyber Monday deals is the Leapfrog Odyssey III Interactive Talking Globe for $48. (Shipping is around $7.) The same toy—which, by the way, has stellar reviews—is currently $91.29 + shipping at Amazon. It pains me to recommend that you spend your money at Walmart, but this is an unbeatable deal on a really nice (award-winning, even) educational toy.
I’m off to alert Santa.

Today everything at Sierra Trading Post is at least 50% off, and they’re still running their automatic free shipping on $75+ deal, too.
You know, I always sort of forget about Sierra Trading Post, and then when I go poke around there I’m always pleasantly surprised at their selection of high-quality, name-brand stuff. You’re not going to find the cheapest of the cheap, there, but you will find unbeatable deals on the good stuff.

I’ve got a stocking stuffer for you:
This Spongebob Squarepants Christmas DVD is just $4.99 with $.99 shipping. But use coupon code NEWMEM5F for $5 off your order, netting you a bit of blessed silence on Christmas day for a cool buck.

Well, to be fair, it’s Cyber Monday at lots of stores, and frankly with all of the deals of the past four or five days I am very nearly sick of shopping (I know, say it ain’t so!), but in case you’re still scoping out toys for the little ones, don’t forget to check today’s steals and deals over at Toys R Us. They’ve got a new promotion running with Paypal, too, where you can get 20% of your order’s total back if you pay via Paypal. (Refunds will be sent in January; this is not an instant rebate.)
I actually find myself somewhat stumped this year; my daughter has reached an age where she’s hard to buy for. Between the sheer volume of stuff she receives from other sources (*coughcoughindulgentfathercough*) and the nine and a half years of me telling her she ought to be grateful for what she has, this year when asked what she’s hoping to receive she is now responding, “You know, I really don’t have anything in mind. I probably don’t need anything.”
Excuse me, I think there’s something in my eye.

Are you ready for Want Not’s biggest contest so far? Are you ready for a shot at a prize worth nearly $180 that will make a child in your life happy for an entire year?
I have connections, my pretties. Yes I do. One of my connections is a devastatingly beautiful lady over at Scholastic who has decided to offer one lucky Want Not reader an entire year’s subscription to the Scholastic Kids Gift of the Month Club of the winner’s choosing.
Follow the link to read all about it, but basically you choose a club—there are themes and levels to suit kids of all ages—and get a pack of books and goodies each month. Choose from Baby Einstein, Nick Jr., Build-A-Bear, Ultimate Magic, or Veggie Tales. Twelve monthly deliveries of Scholastic goodness… if there’s something both mom and kids will enjoy more, I don’t know what it is.
Sound good? One winner will be chosen at random. To enter, leave a comment on this post by 11:59 pm on Tuesday, November 27th, 2007. One comment per person, please. And might I suggest that the subject of your comment be how rockin’ the Scholastic folks are? Because they totally are.
Good luck! And… go!

I got an email from pretty reader Andrea asking if perhaps there’s a current Restaurant.com coupon code, and that prompted me to go through some of my 500+ unread emails (hey, I get a lot of email…) to take a look.
And whaddaya know! Of course there’s a code!
Through November 30th, 2007, take 60% off your Restaurant.com purchase with coupon code THANKS. I must’ve overlooked it in all of the Black Friday excitement. Sorry about that. But now you can go back to getting your $25 restaurant certificates for just $4. Because lord knows that after all that shopping, a gal’s gotta eat.
