If you want a high-quality flat iron but aren’t in a hurry for it, check out the Farouk Deep Brilliance iron currently being offered for $39.95 at Amazon. (The regular retail is $200, but these won’t ship until probably 2008.)
The iron is made by CHI, the super-expensive flat iron brand that everyone raves about. This particular line of products, called Deep Brilliance, is designed for “highly textured” ethnic hair. That means this iron will heat up hotter than seemingly comparable models, so keep that in mind if you are caucasian and/or fine-haired.
We don’t need anyone frying their hair off in the name of a deal, now.

I’m curious…
The ‘also bought’ items are a Roomba and a de-shedding tool. That scares me.

I had a friend that bought this last time it was on special and received a knockoff flat iron plus the CHI oil….just sayin’.
