February 1, 2008 | Hot Hot Hot!
… from its hiding place deep in the Outlet, and if it sees its shadow, that means 6 more weeks of winter!
Uhhhhh. Wait. Maybe it’s that if the Amazon Friday Sale has dirt-cheap flannel sheets, that means 6 more weeks of winter. I can never remember.
Anyway! Bad metaphors aside, it’s my favorite day of the week, people.
While not on particularly huge markdown, I feel the need to link to this cow humidifier just because it makes me laugh. (But, well, there is a $10 off $49+ on Crane humidifiers coupon—CRANE208—so if you needed two, that would be a pretty good deal.)
I have no idea why this and this are listed in the Automotive section, but I am weirdly mesmerized by them.
My husband is so getting one of these tripod keychain lights in his stocking next year.
What was that I was saying about cheap flannel sheets…?
I think these towels were in the sale a couple of weeks ago, but they’re even cheaper now. And still adorable.
My parents have one of these hammock chairs and I am here to tell you that it is deadly. Once you get in, you never want to get out!
Need some casserole dishes?
*whispering* That’s it! That’s the Holy Grail of KitchenAids, right there. (Whoops. I think I drooled on my keyboard.) 50% off. Oh man. Must. Stop. Looking. (Alas. Hey, if you want a refurb one in black, those are just $149.99.)
Here’s hoping you start off February right, with plenty of love and happiness and awesome bargains.

Go on, Mir. Get that KitchenAid mixer!

We have the cow. Each night when we go to bed my 2-year-old daughter tells us we need to “fill the cow.” Hhhhmmm, something strange about that!

You just made my friend a happy woman, even if she doesn’t know it yet: I bought the black refurb KitchenAid for her birthday on the 28th. You rock, Mir.

How do I sign up to be mamacita’s friend? Is there a list somewhere?
February 1st, 2008 at 10:06 am
Seriously! I’d like to be your friend, too, mamacita!!

Mir,
Get the Kitchenaid. But on another subject - you mentioned the wind up flashlights at Kohl’s a few days ago. I put a few into my basket but never checked out because I was bothered by the shipping fees. This morning I decided they would make great Christmas gifts and that we needed them for our cars, the trailer, etc. - but now shipping in that crazy 99 cents per item. SOLD!

I meant to say shipping IS that crazy 99 cents per item not in.

Amazing price on that KitchenAid! I think my red one would get jealous though…

I’m a proud owner of a KitchenAid and you really do need one. They are awesome.
Also, maybe this is just my browser, but when I clicked on the towel link, it said that I should buy the towel plus a Rick Bayless Bean Pot. Not sure how a kiddie towel and a bean pot go together, but now I have the “Beans, Beans, the musical fruit” song in my head.

Huh… maybe I should get that hammock chair for my 3-year-old son, he has sensory processing issues. Ya think Mir?

I almost got the KitchenAid for my Mom, but was unsure about the color cause I know she really wants a black one to match her appliances. I have been kicking myself for not getting the five-quart one you linked to a while back that was on sale for $189. But lo and behold…the link to the Holy Grail KitchenAid included another link to the black one for $189.99!!! YAY! My Mom is going to be one happy lady–her old KitchenAid that she loved was destroyed in a housefire almost 3 years ago and she has been pining for one ever since!

we had 2 skychairs and LOVED them. sadly, they were damaged by being in storage too long. We paid a heck of a lot more than $50, though!
I say go for it - for the sensory kids and sensory adults, too!

The kitchenaids are all gone at that price - I got one for my Mom when there were 4 left, tried to get a second one for her friend who also wanted one, and they were gone before I could type in her address. Oh well.
But now I can’t wait to bake at my Mom’s house!

The cow is so cute. I wonder how it would look in my daughter’s funky college apt.? Those gear clocks, too. Yes, her apartment decor is eclectic, to say the least.

Those humidifiers aren’t just cute, they’re the best out there too! We have the froggy one and we love it.
