You’re thinking this is a post about food, but it isn’t. “Yummy” can be used to describe food, or—as I prefer—David Boreanaz. Rowr.
Anyway, I never really took to the Angel series, for some reason, as I often flipped it on and ogled Boreanaz for a while, but never really got into the plot; but if you dug it, check out the 30 disc Complete Collector’s Set of Angel, currently $55.99 at Amazon. That’s a lot of yummy for not a lot of money per disc.

You know that I’m generally going to direct you to the actual Apple Store for your Apple products; they’re the experts, and prices generally aren’t too much lower, elsewhere. Amazon does occasionally have iPod deals, though.
This one is a doozy: Buy a 32 GB iPod Touch and get a 2nd generation 1 GB iPod Shuffle for free! You’re simply not going to be able to top that at the Apple Store. (Note that the Touch is $5 over Amazon’s price at Apple, plus you’d pay shipping, and of course there’s no free Shuffle offered, there.)
Of course, if you don’t want/need the Shuffle, this isn’t the deal for you. But if you’ve been waffling about getting a Touch and have a gym bag or child who wants their own iPod… maybe this is your opportunity.

Oh, Kohls. How I love your tantalizing deals. How I hate your difficult website, with your “Add this item to basket” followed by “Oops! Not available!” or—even better—a complete order that just never ends up being processed. It’s sort of like playing roulette, and yet, I just can’t quit you, Kohls.
Alas.
If you‘re up for a game of chance, their $.99/item shipping is currently back (through February 29th, 2008), and there’s a couple of available codes. MVCPICKADAY gives 15% off to Kohls card holders, and NEW9914 gives 10% off to anyone.
There’s some nice deals in the kitchen and electrics type things, stuff that’s big (and heavy) where you’re really getting a deal with the $.99 shipping. And who knows, maybe you’ll even get what you order!

Today, February 26th, 2008, from 1:00 - 10:00 p.m., you can enjoy a small latte or cappuccino from Dunkin Donuts for just $.99!
So if you’re wanting a coffee this afternoon, find your closest location and dig some change out of the couch.

February 25, 2008 | Contests
(I don’t know what a Mabel’s Label’s cable would be like, but that would be a cool title if it made any sense at all….)
Hey, everyone! I’d like to introduce you to Mabel’s Labels, a mom-run company in Canada that makes cool personalized labels for, well, just about anything your kids might lose. Their sticky labels are tough enough to withstand the dishwasher, so they’re ideal for cups and silverware and such. They even have special shoe labels designed to withstand stinky feet (yes, really). For clothing, choose either the sticky tag-mates (which stick on a garment’s care tag) or the iron-ons (which can be affixed anywhere on the garment you wish)—both styles will hold up in the washing machine.
If you have a child in daycare, school, or headed off to camp this summer, I promise you that you’ll find plenty of things to label! And the best part is that these labels are not only durable, they’re adorable.
Two lucky Want Not readers are going to win some free Mabel’s Labels! I have two gift certificates to give away: one for a free set of iron-ons or tag-mates (a $21 value), and one for a free set of famous sticky labels (an $18.50 value). To enter for a chance to win, leave a comment on this post before 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27th, 2008, telling me which style of label you’d like to win. (If you don’t have a preference, that’s fine, too. But the first winner selected will get what they’d prefer.) As always, winners to be determined by random drawing.
Ready, set… label!

Sometimes my inner 10-year-old boy is simply too powerful to repress. So I’ll just say this, because I have to, and then try to move on:
A “Pants Event” and a “Pantsing Event” are two entirely different things.
I cannot help you with the latter, but if you’re interested in the former, you might want to head on over to Eddie Bauer, where all pants are currently $10 off through March 11th, 2008.
(Oddly enough, I was more intrigued when I thought it was a pantsing event. But this is good, too.)

I think I’ve already mentioned that Sierra Trading Post is giving free shipping on orders of $100+
through March 5th, 2008. But now you have the chance to do even better—through February 27th, 2008, all clearance items are an additional 15% off.
The prices there are pretty much ridiculously low to begin with, so between these two promotions (they’re automatic—no coupons needed) you could really clean up. Especially if you have a child who always seems to either outgrow their boots or lose a mitten right in the middle of winter. (Yet another reason I love Georgia! Now they just come home muddy.)

I’m starting to think this should have its own category. I could call it “I was surfing Amazon while I was supposed to be working and I found you these cheap books that would be great for party favors or whatever.” Too long? Maybe just a little…?
Okay, all of the following are eligible for the 4-for-3 promotion, which means even greater savings when you’re stocking up:
Egyptology Code-Writing Kit for $5.99 (40% off) (another -ologies book)
Mini Butterfly Tattoos or Snakes Tattoos for $.90 (40% off) (these are a huge crowd-pleaser, and great for filler items in orders that are close to being eligible for free shipping!)
The Latke Who Couldn’t Stop Screaming: A Christmas Story for $2.03 (80% off) (this is a Lemony Snicket book with great reviews)
Littlest Pet Shop Trading Cards: Volume One for $1.43 (80% off) (words cannot describe how much I dislike Littlest Pet Shop, but my children love them and love cards; this would be an awesome party favor)
Dream Bedroom: Use Recycled Materials to Make Cool Crafts for $3.89 (51% off) (great choice for your favorite ecokid)
I’ll come back and add some more if I find ‘em. That should be enough to get you started wondering if I ever get anything done all day.

I just love little freebies of laundry detergent—it saves me from buying a whole big bottle of something to find out if I like it. This new Tide with Dawn detergent claims to be even tougher on stains than ever before, but who knows if that’s really true. I’ll have to try it to find out.
And during the 6-8 weeks while I’m waiting for it to arrive, I can fantasize that the StainScrubbers it includes are a few burly women who will do my laundry for me.
Stop looking at me like that.

Gooooooood morning! Did you stay up late watching the Oscars? Are you dragging a bit this morning? Perhaps this will help put some spring in your step.
Over at DisneyShopping, if you spend $29+, you can use coupon code SHIP29 to ship your entire order for just $2.99. This offer is good only today and tomorrow (February 25-26, 2008), so get on over there if there’s something you need. (Pssst! The code works in the Outlet, too!)
