No redneck joke needed: My 7 yr old son is very picky and will not eat sandwiches. Of any kind. So, jerky is his protein choice when I pack his school lunches (which, since he’s picky, is most of the time!) It works for us!
(Another Costco plug: We buy our jerky there–2 bags of good quality jerky for $10)
