Have you seen this? You can now use Adobe Photoshop online, for free. You’re at the mercy of your internet connection, of course, but if you’re needing some photo editing magic and you’re too cheap poor to buy some software, there ya go.

Hello! Did you miss me, today? I missed me, today! I was being held hostage at a new hair salon. I went in for a cut and color, but apparently what they heard was “I have nothing else to do today and would like to hang out here for four or five hours.”
Had I only had my handy-dandy GPS unit with me… or perhaps, this one here, the Magellan Maestro 4000, which is currently marked down to $149.99 with free shipping at Amazon, perhaps the additional navigational help would’ve told me to avoid that salon at all costs.
Well, okay… probably it wouldn’t have. But I can dream. And you can get a cheap GPS unit, finally. And feel happy that you weren’t trapped in Hair Purgatory all day.

Had your eye on something at Liz Claiborne? Today (March 27th, 2008) only, they’re taking 25% off their “Everyday Classics.” There’s also an additional 25% off sale items, looks like. (Discounts are automatic and already reflected in the prices shown.)
Their prices are hardly bargain-basement, even with the markdowns, but it’s quality, classic stuff. Trust me, that’s exactly what I tell myself when I shop there….

My daughter is turning ten in a few weeks, and I don’t know if you know this about prepubescent children, but their feet, good lord, their feet want to get a jump on that whole growth spurt thing.
This is annoying in any event, because suddenly the kid needs new shoes more often than she needs new underwear, but it is particularly annoying for a young girl because the difference in shoe styles between kids and juniors is, shall we say, extreme. As soon as she passed the size 4 mark, it seemed that retailers wanted me to either pay twice as much or buy her hooker gear. And you know how I feel about either of those options.
My little girl still wants pink sandals. Pink sandals she can run and jump and play in. Which is why I still pink puffy heart LL Bean, and why I was ecstatic this morning to find that their pink cool wave sandals are on sale for just $6.95 in sizes 3-6. Use coupon code 3001059 for free shipping, too.
Pinky Flipperfoot is going to be thrilled.

I’m so glad we have so many fellow book-lovers out there! All told, we had 160 entries into the contest to win Jim Averbeck’s In a Blue Room this week. It really is a delightful little book, and I’m pleased to be sending it along to a home where it can be properly loved!
Ye olde random number generator hath spoken, and it spake thusly: Number 153, Desta. Congratulations, Desta! Be sure to look for my email so you can respond with your mailing address. Thanks to everyone for playing, and thank you to Harcourt for donating the book!
Just a reminder: There’s still a few days left to enter the prize pack contest at Ty’s Toy Box for some Noddy and Mr. Men/Little Miss goodies, too.
I have a fabulous contest coming up next week courtesy of a very generous and fun company, so be sure to tune in on Monday for that. I am thinking of changing the site’s tagline to “Having it all with less… and lots of prizes.” Heh.

It seems like it’s been a very long time since they had one (but maybe I just missed a couple)… nevertheless, today they’re having a Woot Off!
Different products, all day long. Refresh early, refresh often.
(I heart me some Woot.)

Hey, there’s another coupon out for David’s Cookies
, which is awesome because 1) it’s a discount on a gift everyone can use, 2) they’re offering free shipping, too, and 3) cookies!
Ahem. Anyway, just use code MOM15B to take 15% off your order. You have until May 7th to order for guaranteed Mother’s Day delivery, but I bet your mom would like some cookies right now.
Or maybe it’s just that I would like some cookies right now. Hard to know.

So after the big deal on iPhones from the other day, alert reader Kristine came back this week and said:
Ok, Mir, we need a big fat review of your iPhone. What do you love? What do you hate? What do you wish it did better? Is it worth waiting for the next release?? Can’t wait to hear!!
And to Kristine I say: Sorry, I’d love to tell you all about my iPhone, but I am far too busy making out with it to discuss it right now.
Only joking, of course. Right now my daughter is busy making out with it, so I can talk for a few minutes…. (more…)

I no longer have a dog, because I have children, and they are annoying enough. (I kid! I love dogs! Other people’s dogs!) Anyway, I know that a lot of people treat their dogs like beloved children, and I think that’s great except for when it comes to wear little doggie sweaters.
If you want to feed your dog premium food and treats, and you can afford to do so, I say more power to you. But if you want to feed your dog premium food and treats and think you can’t afford to, I say look over here: Right now various Dogswell treats
are up to 54% off at Amazon. This stuff is all-natural and full of holistic goodness.
In fact, it’s probably healthier than what I’m feeding my kids. Maybe I’ll buy some of this for them.

Summer’s coming, you know. Even if it doesn’t feel like it right now, I promise that it is. And what better way to get ready than to pick up some summer footwear for the family? Right now at Shoebuy you can use coupon code GETREADY08 to take $20 off your $75+ purchase in sandals, athletic shoes, or apparel.
I mean, unless you like pulling the kids’ last year’s sandals out of the closet and saying “Oh… that’s what that smell was.”
