Free Chipotle for teachers, tonight only

Sorry to be late on this one, but Damsel just tipped me off: Tonight (Tuesday, May 6th, 2008) teachers eat for free at all Chipotle restaurants (find one here):

Bring your ID showing that you are a teacher, administrator or school faculty member to any Chipotle store between 3 and 10 p.m., and you will receive your burritos and tacos for free.

Mmmmm… free tacos. It never occurred to me to get into teaching for the free food!

    Seconding the recommendation to call first — my friend and I called a bunch of places in San Diego, and most of them are honoring it but one store had no idea what we were talking about.

    I actually qualify for this but I think I could buy my whole family dinner instead of driving to the nearest one 30 miles away! Plus, I’m too tired after a day at school to take three kids to an actual restaurant. :-)

    My local Chipotle (in MD) isn’t honoring it either. I could really use the free food!

    Dude, Chipotle is one of the ONLY things I miss about living in a larger city. My entire beloved-but-dinky STATE doesn’t have a single franchise.

    SO SO good.
