Several of you wrote in to let me know that the big book deal at Weekly Reader is back; they’re offering 12 kids’ favorite hardcover books plus 12 CDs for $20. Even better, the shipping is just $3.85. This is a great gift-closet stocker if you want to break up the set, and an even better teacher gift if you like to contribute to the classroom library.
My kids are beyond this level, now, but I’ve bought this bundle a few times in the past and have always been pleased.
