Starting today, KMart is selling Rock Band for Wii, PS3, and XBox in stores this week for just $99.99. (The original retail is $169.)
That’s a great deal if you’ve been dying to find it at a reduced price, but do keep in mind that Rock Band 2 is coming out mid-November, in time for the holidays. (It’s available for pre-order now, of course.)
Pros: The new one has twice as many tracks as the original, and both bass and lead guitars. Cons: You’re not going to find it for under a hundred bucks, and you have to wait until November.
Proceed accordingly.

OK, Amazon was showing Rock Band 2 for the WII pre-order for only $50. This is CRAZY cheap. I hope it goes through.

hmmm I wonder if it includes the PS2 as well – the almost 14 yr olds birthday is next week….. will have to investigate! Thanks for the heads up!

KMart’s sale is $99.99 for the PS2 version only. All other versions are on SALE for $169.99. It’s in their circular this week and I went into the store and asked.
Also, the Amazon deal that Debi mentioned is also only for the PS2. I was looking for one for the PS3 or XBox 360, but no deal.
