A while back there was an awesome deal on an in-car iPod player that I didn’t post here; I bought one for my husband, and I didn’t want him to get wind of it, so I deprived y’all of the deal. I’m sorry.
Except that I’m not, because—while the deal I got was amazing, I thought—now the price has dipped unbelievable low. As in, much less than what I paid. As in, I’m trying not to be bitter.

My husband uses his every day on the way to work, and in particular for design geeks who like the click wheel on the iPod, this is a nifty device because the “command center” is basically a click wheel on a joystick.

awesome deal! btw, the reason the price went down so much is b/c i’m pretty sure a new version of it is coming out, apparently one that can show album art. such is the world of electronics. still an amazing deal tho.

My husband would love this except that the radio in his car doesn’t like to allow the Ipod to use the FM transmitter. Guess it’s too old – but he can put it through the tape deck, so at least he can use it to some degree. This is a great price though.

Aw, hell, it was such a good deal, I bought it with the hopes that it works in his car since it would be a better interface than what he has now. If it doesn’t work, there’s always my car…
