Reminder: Clarisonic contest

You’ve got just a few more hours to enter to win a Clarisonic system for the best skin of your life. This contest has already broken the previous Want Not record for entries, so I’m guessing that a lot of you have been waiting all your lives to use a tickly ultrasonic brush on your face. As well you should’ve.

No, I have no idea what I’m saying right now. I have to get back into the kitchen and… cook… some more… stuff. Tomorrow is going to be awesome. Right after I pass out from exhaustion, tonight.

Let’s pretend it’s the weekend already

It looks like Eddie Bauer is in a hurry to get their holiday weekend on—their big Thanksgiving weekend sale is already going. The site shows a few different ways to get free shipping on top of their reduced prices, too (free shipping for everyone with code HDSHPHS8 on your $100+ order, with even better offers for “friends” and cardholders available).

I like their attitude, frankly. I mean, I’ll take more weekend. Does this mean I can start eating all of these goodies I’m cooking today, too…?

A close shave at a great price

Been thinking about getting your favorite guy an electric razor this year? Look, I know most folks prefer a conventional blade, but some people enjoy not cutting themselves to ribbons every time they shave, despite being clumsy or whatever. (Not that I’m calling you or anyone you love clumsy. But consider an electric razor an excellent gift for a first-time shaver, at least.)

Right now at drugstore.com, you can get this Philips Norelco shaver for half-off—just $39.99! I think it may actually be more than half off, actually, because the same razor is over $109 at Amazon.

Sure, a disposable razor would be cheaper. But this is fancier, and doesn’t require any band-aids.

Ship it all for free (and smell better)

The holidays are about the only time of year you can tell someone you think they smell, and they’ll smile and thank you.

I mean, give someone a gift of any of the goodies available at Bath and Body Works, and they’ll be thrilled. No need to point out why you’re giving it.

Today and tomorrow only (November 26-27, 2008), ship your entire order for free with code SHIPFREE. And breathe easier.

Wednesday deals = weekend deals

Today at JC Penney, the Wednesday Deals link takes you to their Weekend Deals. See? Must be special for Black Friday and such.

I don’t see a lot of exciting items there, but there are two things to note:

1) Buy $25+ worth and you can ship your order for free with coupon code 44FS25,
and
2) They have a margarita machine for pretty cheap.

And after a few days of family togetherness, who doesn’t need a margarita…?

I might have to buy these for myself

So many nights I’ve wished for a pair of working night vision goggles. I’m guessing $50 is a bit cheaper than what the government might spend on them.

And also that the Tooth Fairy would really appreciate a pair. Just sayin’.

More toys! Just in case you need more!

Wow, I seem to have returned today with an abundance of exclamation points. Sorry about that—I probably got them for free, with a coupon, and now I just can’t! resist! trotting them out. My apologies, truly.

Regardless, it turns out that today and tomorrow, Toys ‘R’ Us has a big section of half-off itemsicon, many of which are eligible for their current spend $25, get free shipping promo.

I see many scary looking Lego dude things which are both half-off and free shipping eligible, for example. So if you have a kid who likes those, be sure to take a look. (“Yay! It’s a scary looking Lego dude thing!”)

Black Friday’s come early this year?

I’ll confess I had to scoot out to a doctor’s appointment, here, in a minute, so I haven’t sufficiently scoped this one out… but apparently Amazon is doing Black Friday early, or continuously, or something.

At any rate, at a quick glance I see a very cheap Leatherman tool and $9.99 fleece throws, so it may be worth a closer look.

Now, everyone behave while I’m gone. Back this afternoon….

Bakugan back in stock

Still seeking Bakugan for your little warriors? The Bakugan Battle Pack is back in stock at Amazon for $25.99 shipped. That includes 6 Bakugan and a whole mess of cards (don’t ask me how the cards work; I have no idea).

If you want to feel like you’re getting a great deal (beyond just finding them in stock), check out the prices in the “More Buying Choices” sidebar on the right-hand side of the page. Yeesh.
