Soon Target will be too ritzy for me

Um, does anyone else know when Target started carrying real purse brands? Last I knew, they featured only the finest options in canvas and pleather. And then I popped over there this morning to see what they had on the daily deal and lo and behold, in addition to a giant kids’ demolition play set, they have two Tignanello purses. Leather Tignanello purses. Cute ones! Go figure.

As always, their deals of the day come with free shipping. Though when I order from Target online I generally consider the shipping a small tax to pay for not stepping foot in the store and coming out with $50 worth of stuff I didn’t know I needed until I saw it. Ahem.

Ohmygosh – so I went into Target on Monday to get a couple things and came out with $90 worth of things… Tuesday I had to return $10 of it, and came out with $30 more… what is it with that store????

That is a good point. I’m annoyed that Target doesn’t have the free shipping to the store like Wal-Mart does. But if I have to go walk through the store to get the item, I come home with snacks we don’t need, toiletry items we don’t need, plastic dishes, sidewalk chalk, etc.

I love Target. I used to make a weekly (Friday after work) pilgrimage to Target and routinely spend $100. It was ridiculous, and most of the time I bought stuff I didn’t “need”. So, now I am a reformed Target shopper. I rarely go in the actual store anymore. I shop online, that way I don’t even see those things that I didn’t know I needed….I miss it, though.
