(Does anyone else remember the full-page ads that used to run in Seventeen magazine and the like, showing only a close-up of a stuffed animal, with the text “Gotta Getta Gund?” I don’t know why I remembered that this morning, but now I feel old. Tell me it’s not just me!)

Here’s a deal for you if you’re in the market for gift cards this season: Right now at Best Buy, get a free $10 gift card with the purchase of a $25 gift card and a $25 iTunes card. So you spend $50, but you get $60 worth of cards.

But wait, there’s more—you also get a year’s supply of turtle wax! Oh, wait. No you don’t. But they are running a special this week where if you pay with Paypal, you can get $20 back on a purchase of $100+. If you combined the two (although it’s only letting me put one “free” card in my card, even if I double quantities), you could really rack up the savings.

    I remember the Gund bears and that ad. I also remember the girl with the great skin in the Bonne Bell 1006 lotion ad. Now I feel really old!

    If I read the fine print correctly, the $20 PayPal deal excludes gift cards.
