I also have the Easy Find Lid set and I love it! All of the sizes get used and they store very nicely, even though I forget to snap the lids together about 90% of the time.

I have that 24-piece set (Xmas gift from my MIL last year), and it is awesome! The lids really do snap together to make storage a lot easier, and the containers are really sturdy and clean up very well. I highly recommend it!

I make the kids pay for any containers they lose. It has cut down on losses significantly. Not that they *really* care, because they have no idea how much money they have in the parental bank (no cash for them since I found about $200 in the basement, they were using it to play something). But somehow threatening them with “lose it, you’ll pay for it” has helped. They also don’t know how much anything costs (sigh, even the oldest at 12), so as far as they know, it could be as much as, say, a DS game or a new Webkinz.

I saw that, too. Sometimes those estimates are wrong. Unless you’re currently having a food storage emergency, I’d say it’s probably worth the wait (however long it ends up being).

I bought the produce savers in Sept (and love them), but I paid 17.45 for the set – so $12.98 is a great price.

This is one reason I don’t do the “bento box” style lunches – the first day I do a cute little plastic container with other smaller plastic containers, I know I’ll be mad when they don’t all come home from school. Just easier to stay away from the cute!
