We’ve had a Wii for a little over a year now, and I’ve been able to resist purchasing Rock Band for various reasons. The kids are not quite old enough. It’ll take up a lot of space. I’m too dorky to know most of the songs, anyway.
But now Amazon has The Beatles: Rock Band marked down to $99, and I’m about to cave. Get the game, two guitars, drums, and a microphone. And, of course, all the Beatles goodness you can belt out from your couch.

Careful, that is not the limited edition set with the Beatles inspired instruments. Apparently, from reviews that I read, these are a much older set of instruments from the Rock Band series. I don’t know, since I didn’t order them, but from the reviews, the special value edition(this one listed here) have some very crappy instruments bundled with it. We went with the Limited Edition set and are sooooo very pleased.
As Jen said, the instruments are first generation in this bundle and much worse. Better to buy rock band 2 and the beatles game separately for good instruments and another game.
