Well, maybe just a little Amazon

I thought I was all burnt out from yesterday, but then I started looking around at Amazon….

Oh, don’t judge me. I can stop any time I want to! I just, uh, don’t want to. Ahem.

Anyway, a few items to consider today….

If you got that Struxx Robotrixx when it was super cheap a couple of days ago, you might want to consider the Struxx Basixx 40x set to go with it; check the “More Buying Choices” column to get it for $24 from Amazon.

The Magnext iCoaster is also at a great price directly from Amazon (again, check the “More Buying Choices” column)—just $30 shipped, which is $10 cheaper than the Black Friday price of it at Toys R Us.

It’s not quite the rock-bottom prices we saw earlier in the week, but if someone on your list has their heart set on a new iPod Nano, you could do worse than this deal from Amazon where you pay $135 and get a $10 gift card back.

Black Friday Deals Week is still going on, too, so there’s plenty of Lightning Deals worth keeping an eye on. Just sayin’.

Contest winner and post-Black Friday

Woooooooo! I don’t know about you, but yesterday was a wild ride for me. Quite honestly I hadn’t expected to buy anything; I was ready to spend the day enabling all of you, but as the saying goes, there were a few deals I simply couldn’t pass by. I would share my awesome scores, but certain people who shall be recipients of my scores read this site, so I’ll just have to make meaningful eyebrows at the rest of you and ask you to share your best scores from yesterday (either online or in the stores, if you braved the crowds).

In the meantime, in all of the excitement of the last few days, I’ve been remiss in selecting the winner of the Pandigital photo frame contest. The good news about the holiday, though, is that for the first time in forever, I didn’t have two dozen late entries into the contest (heh). Regardless, over 400 of you hoped to get lucky on this one—heck, I’m a little jealous of the prize, myself—and now I’m about to make someone’s day. According to our handy-dandy random number generator, our winner is commenter 275, Carrie. Congratulations, Carrie—please check your email!

As always, big thanks to all who played, and special thanks to Pandigital and their helpers at MJ Marketing for the extremely generous prize donation. (I love playing Santa, but as you know, I’m kind of cheap and miserly, so it’s the lavish generosity of companies like these that make the contests here at Want Not possible.)

I’ll have a few Saturday deals coming up, and of course there’s more contests coming up and more chances to win.

In the meantime, tell me: What was your best find yesterday?

May the Force be with your Black Friday

I tried to stay away. Really! But I keep being drawn to the dark side.

Appropriately, then, allow me to suggest two different Star Wars-themed deals.

First, check out this special edition Leapster 2 Star Wars Gift Pack for $35; you get the Leapster along with Jedi Math! Awesome.

Alternatively, maybe you’ve been wanting Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, which is now just $13 for Playstation 3, Nintendo DS, Wii, or XBox.

Have bargains you will, my friends.

And a few more clothing deals

And after this, I think it may be time for my nap. (I hope y’all had fun shopping with me today. I have to say, I had a blast. Who says you have to leave the house to get that adrenaline rush from chasing the bargains??)

Today only, everything at The Limited is 40% off, and shipping is free.

Everything’s 40% off at Lane Bryant today, too.

Meanwhile, Fashion Bug is showing off by offering 60% off everything, plus free shipping on your $50+ order.

And Black Friday is going strong over at Sierra Trading Post, where new deals are going up every couple of hours. Stack it with coupon ALNOVEMBER9 for extra savings (15% off $100 or 20% off $150).

Happy Black Friday, everyone. I hope all your bargain dreams came true today!

When you’re done with gifts

Don’t forget to pick yourself up a nice pair of new shoes. You know, because you worked so hard today finding things for everyone else. You totally deserve it.

There are, of course, your daily options at 6pm.com. You probably saw those earlier, when we were all squealing over the Flips and the Blu-ray deal.

At Famous Footwear, it’s buy one, get one half off, plus you can use coupon code THNKS09 for an additional 20% off your entire order.

At Endless.com, they’re offering 30% off slippers, boots, handbags and sunglasses, automatically.

At Shoes.com you can use code YAMS all day today to save an additional 25% on sale items (yay for sale on a sale, my favorite kind).

And finally, Shoebuy.com is giving 20% off of everything with coupon code FRIDAY, today only.

If you can’t find a single pair of shoes you need amongst those options, well, I’m afraid maybe I really don’t know you after all.

If you got that Blu-ray earlier. . .

… maybe you’d like the matching Panasonic 50″ plasma HDTV to go with it?

Yeah, it’s $700, which is hardly chump change. But that’s a fabulous price on a highly-rated set.

It may be a coffee overdose hallucination, but I swear there’s a tiny devil sitting on my left shoulder at this very moment….

And now for a few random toys

Why, yes, I have been trolling Amazon for seven hours. Why do you ask? *twitch*

Aside from the continuing stream of Black Friday lightning deals, here’s a few other deals I see:

Pictureka Flipper for $15.
Boom Blox Bash Party (for the Wii) for $15.
Bakugan Maxus Dragonoid for $33 (only slightly on sale, but sold out a lot of places)
Scene It? Twilight Deluxe Edition for $23—perfect for your favorite Twihard.

Okay, going to publish this before the prices change (oh Amazon, don’t think we haven’t noticed). Will keep scouting, though.

Black Friday on unique gifts

I still love the stuff you can find at Red Envelope that you can’t find anywhere else; the deals are just a bonus. For Black Friday they’re offering two options:

Either go through this link for an extra 15% off even on sale prices, or…

go through this link for free shipping and a free gift box.

I see a few deals worth checking out, plus for some of their larger/heavier items the free shipping will be quite a savings.

Okay, don’t get mad

Right now Roku is offering half off their HD-XR units, but only on the first 500 sold on this deal.

So it appears that their site is slammed/down. But if you’re persistent and willing to endure some frustration, you could potentially pick one up for only $65 with coupon code hdxrsteal. Good luck!

[Edited to add: Deal is dead. I waited for the site to load through two screens over 30 minutes, and they sold out. Oh well. Anyone manage to get one?]

Full-size photo printer ahoy

In the market for a photo printer? How does a Canon PIXMA MP490 for $30 shipped grab you? (It should grab you firmly, but gently.) (Okay, that was a little disturbing. Nevermind.)

Free shipping on any order at Office Depot, right now, and you’re not going to beat $30 for that printer. The reduced price at Amazon is $50.

[Not that I don't love Amazon. Why, I am right now stalking the upcoming Lightning Deal on a laser tag set. Just saying this particular printer deal at Office Depot would be tough to beat.]
