Suck it up, baby

I remember when I was a new, neurotic mom and still believed that baby needed to have specific brands of various things, lest she somehow not have the perfect existence I had planned for her. (Ohhhhhhh hang on a sec. I have to stop laughing at myself. Okay, almost done.)

I tell you this by way of explanation that I don’t really know if the best-selling UK brand Tommee Tippee, which is now available at Babies ‘R’ Us, truly is any better/cooler/more natural than any other brand of cups and pacifiers and feeding tools, but I do know that right now they’re offering the line at buy 1, get one half off. And I also know that as a neurotic new mother I would’ve found the designs and patterns delightful.

All of which is to say that if you need a baby shower gift or two, it might be worth a look.

I dunno, how do you know that she didn’t suffer lasting effects from not having name brand sippy cups? Might be worth a lawsuit. ; )

OOH! Maybe that’s why we were all awful 11-14 year olds… our mothers didn’t use Tommee Tippee for us when we were babies!

Or maybe it’s just the hormones. Take your pick :)
