Let’s call it artsy

I am married to a photographer. He makes beautiful pictures.

I sometimes take blurry pictures… even on autofocus. Ahem.

I’m not saying that’s the only reason to love a Lensbaby… heck, even people who can, you know, actually make nice pictures enjoy playing with the effects it renders. I’m just saying that for someone who never before felt like artsy pictures were possible, it’s a big help.

Now I use our Lensbaby all the time. And when it’s blurry? I’m all, “I totally meant to do that. Yes.”

It’s worth the regular retail price, but right now Amazon has the Nikon F Mount or Canon EF Mount versions for just $70 shipped (over half off). It’s a fun lens to have.

Beret and snooty French accent not included.

    I just found out that I did NOT get the interview I was hoping for so I am thinking this is a consolation gift for myself. Along with, possibly, a brownie or two.

    hmmm… I have a Nikon D80 that this would be awesome with. Now how do I convince my husband we need it?

    OMG! I forgot I had a $50 g/c to Amazon from my sister! So I splurged…because I CAN justify spending $20…Yay!!!
