Wear pretty shoes to my funeral

Have I mentioned that I’m sick? I think I’m dying. I also think I’m fairly melodramatic, so maybe I’m not really dying. But it feels that way.

Just in case I’m on my way out, it seems that 6pm.com has put all of my favorite shoe brands on sale today. Born, Clarks, Charles David, Michael Kors… there’s plenty of choices at deep discounts, whether I survive this virus or not. Am I being too maudlin? Hey, it’s a special kind of friend who uses her flu as an excuse for you to buy more shoes. I’m a giver, that way.

    It’s not for your funeral, Mir. 6pm is trying to give you a reason to live! Order something pretty for yourself, just to give yourself the strength to hang on until their it’ll-get-there-eventually shipment arrives.
