Reminder: Logitech contest

Don’t forget—you have until early tomorrow morning to enter to win a wireless Logitech Fantasy mouse, all pretty and swirly and girly and yet, still the Logitech dependability you want when you’re talking about your trusted computer. (Or, as I like to call mine, my preeeeeshush.)

You can’t win if you don’t enter, so what are you waiting for?

As always, you enter by leaving a comment on the contest post. Comments left on this post shall be restricted to discussion of how your Summer is going. Mine has been pretty awesome, so far, but I am starting to ask the kids when they’re going to get jobs. Their reactions are unimpressive, I must say.

The dancing baby, and everything else

I confess: I was an Ally McBeal addict back in the day. The angst. The eye candy. The dancing baby. I loved it all, and then the series ended and I moved on to other things.

Well, imagine my delight to see that today only, Amazon is running an unadvertised special on Ally McBeal: The Complete Series on DVD! Just use code ALLYAMZN to take an additional $60 off, making this 31-disc set just $80 delivered.

That’s a lot of Ally McBeal, granted. But at around $2.58/disc it’s hard not to be tempted.

Land of the free, home of the stainless

It’s another way to celebrate the 4th of July, because—after all—you’re going to need some forks to eat that apple pie, right?

Right now at Oneida, you can save 20% on any order with coupon code JULY4. Combine that with their already sizzling deals, and you could be scooping up bargains on silverware or dinnerware in no time.

Did you know that they’re now taking Paypal, too? Be still my frugal heart.

Replace your laptop battery for less

Today’s question comes courtesy of Kris, who asks:

Any idea where to get good, cheap-ish PC laptop replacement batteries? I’ve been putting off the purchase (can’t stand the thought of paying Dell $150).

I have an easy answer to this question, with one small caveat: Batteries.com has great prices, huge variety, and they offer free shipping on every laptop replacement battery they sell. (Even better, you can use coupon GGL15 for an additional 15% off!) I’ve personally ordered a variety of products from them over the years and never had a problem. But the caveat is this: what you are going to get is a compatible battery, in most cases, rather than the “official brand name battery” you’d get by going directly to Dell or whatever.

Is that a problem? I don’t think it is, but some people are a little persnickety about that. So I just wanted to point out that part of the cheapness is because of the off-brands.

In terms of price, however, I’d say they’re hard to beat. Happy replacing!

Dressy!

There’s just something about the warmer weather that makes me want to wear dresses and skirts, even though I’m very much a jeans (oh, okay, pajamas) kind of gal. So I’m always happy to see a deal on pretty, twirly clothes.

Through tomorrow, The Limited is taking 30% off all dresses, and you can also add coupon code 405 to that to get another 15% off. The result? Adorable dresses at pretty good-looking prices.

It looks like it applies to all their dresses except the two wedding gowns they carry. And I love The Limited as much as the next person, but really, wedding gowns?? Wow.

Last day to save and ship for free

Just a reminder—today is the last day to shop the twice-yearly Disney Sale and get free shipping on your order if you buy any Toy Story item.

As an aside, as much as it pains me to drop $40 to see a movie in the theater, I must reluctantly admit that Toy Story 3 was totally worth it. And I wasn’t crying, there was something in my eye. Ahem.

Look good, maybe win big?

Amazon is really trying hard to promote their revamped clothing store, so right now, if you sign up to receive Amazon Clothing Store emails, you might win $1,000. Really!

Now, I hate junk email as much as the next person. So I’m not suggesting you sign up with the email you use all the time. In fact, I always recommend that if you do a lot of online shopping, you should have an email account just for that, to keep the endless store emails all in one place. So whether you use a special “shopping” email address or something else, you might want to brave a few emails for the chance to win.

Once more, with feeling

Why yes, the ever-ongoing Monster Sale at Children’s Place continues, same as it always does, but the good news now is that they’re doing special savings for the upcoming holiday.

Through July 5th, spend $50+ and you’ll get 20% off your order with code JULY4TH.

I’m not telling you what to do, but it’s around this time that I start doing my shopping for next year. Just sayin’.

Too busy for shoes? Never!

Wow, I am having such a frenetic day over here, I nearly forgot to check 6pm.com! I didn’t go there until just now, so of course they have a ton of my favorite brands on sale today (and I nearly missed it). Reef, Steve Madden, Nunn Bush, Via Spiga, and more.

It’s almost like the universe is trying to tell me something. I can almost make it out… something about slowing down… finding balance… and having really, really pretty shoes.

One day to save shipping

It’s a one-day-only chance to save: Today (Tuesday, June 29th, 2010) Coldwater Creek is offering free shipping on every order with coupon code WHH7836. Even better, everything in the Outlet is an automatic 30% off their already reduced prices, so if you shop there you stand to find some real bargains between the discount and the free shipping.

Not bad for a Tuesday, right? (Is it me, or does it still feel like Monday? Not quite sure what that’s about….)
