I’m all snacks and cookbooks this morning. What’s that about? Clearly I need more pie uh, fruit. Yes.

These are not my first choice granola bars, because (despite the name) many of the flavors contain extras I’m not wild about, but I do buy them sometimes because they’re tasty and their formulations vary widely—some of them have HFCS, some don’t. They also have a few gluten-free varieties which are much cheaper than dedicated GF brands tend to be.

I’m loving this little item from Boise today, of all places: Get a Groupon to Snack Warehouse—purveyor of natural and organic snacks—and pay just $15 for $30 worth. Shipping there will run you just $3.99 on any order up to 30 pounds.
The brands carried here are ones that tend to be expensive, so if you’re happy with Lays potato chips and store-brand pretzels, this is not the deal for you. But if you’re gluten-free (lots of options here!) or otherwise looking for specific, “healthier” brands, this one is worth checking out.
This is a good deal even if you didn’t get the recent Bath and Body Works Groupon, but an even better one if you did, obviously.

We own a Panasonic Viera and have been very happy with it. (And for those wondering if 1080p is worth the extra cost, my answer is no. What the human eye can resolve at normal TV-viewing distance means that most of us will find the difference between 1080p and 720p indistinguishable. I’d, personally, rather save the money.)
