Anti-vampire lighting

You know that the writing over at Woot always delights me, but today I am still chuckling over their description on Home.Woot for a 4-pack of darkness-sensing CFL bulbs.

I don’t know about the whole vampire thing, but if you wanted energy-efficient lights that automatically go on when it gets dark, this seems like a decent deal. And if you have vampires around, well, I’m guessing it’s an even better deal.

    Gee, I thought only the old-style incandescents would produce enough UV to upset a vampire!
