I wander into my local Talbots store every now and then, and usually end up giggling hysterically and running out of there like a kid who’s trying not to get caught shoplifting. What can I say? T-shirts for $75 tend to make me laugh.

But right now their online clearance is marked down as much as 90%, and suddenly Talbots clothes are at Target prices, which means I can not only afford to shop there, I don’t even get the giggles.

    Tempted. But, final sale items can’t be returned. I don’t want to be stuck with something that doesn’t fit well. So. Guess I’ll pass.

    …was curious so I added up the regular prices of what I just bought – $1,182.00 – I paid $189.87. I would NEVER have paid over $1k for 13 items! My average is $14.60 per item – I can live with that!

    Amazing! One $27 jacket brought my average up but I’m thrilled to have some good quality buys!
