The never-fail stocking stuffer: Hot Wheels

By Mir
November 22, 2012

I confess; for a few years, there, during the very lean times, I bought knock-off die-cast vehicles for my kids. And they were terrible—the decals peeled off and the wheels popped off and they were basically the fast track to disappointment. I learned my lesson.

Now it’s Hot Wheels or nothing, and this is especially important because my husband likes a car or two on Christmas morning, too. (My son may have just about outgrown the toy cars, but luckily the husband is still going strong.) Did you see that Amazon has this 9-pack of Hot Wheels cars for just $5? (Free Prime shipping, or eligible for free Super Saver Shipping.)

These are perfect for donations, too. Get an extra and drop it off in your local Toys For Tots bin.

  1. It’s $11.40 for me…frowny face…

  2. I’m seeing $11.40 too.

  3. Aaaaaaaargh I hate it when that happens. Sorry, y’all. I swear it was $5 when I posted it!

  4. There’s never a need to apologize, pretty Mir. Amazon pricing is not your fault. Your deal spotting skills have saved my family a lot of money over the years, and consistently get my children some Christmas gifts they probably wouldn’t have had otherwise. Thank you!

  5. No worries. 🙂
