Ultimate Nerfery

I can’t tell you anything about this from a personal standpoint, as I am one of those horrible hippie mothers who never let her kids have pretend guns (though my son now attends a school program where they regularly build swords and machetes, so, I don’t claim to be logical), but I do remember that last year this Nerf N-Strike Stampede ECS was one of the hot items for Christmas. And right now it’s down to just $20 at Amazon, which is it’s lowest price ever. Plus, as we all know, once the toy clearance starts in earnest in a couple of weeks, Nerf darts are one of the things we’re likely to see going for cheap.

It’s got 4.5 stars with nearly 200 reviews, so there’s that. But perhaps most importantly: it gives you an opportunity to practice hollering, “You’ll shoot your eye out, kid!”

  1. This would undoubtedly make my boy’s head spin, but I must. stop. buying my children things. I do have a question for you however. I heard the other day that if I click on an affiliate link, specifically an Amazon affiliate link, and do not buy that item but buy other items instead, you still earn your 2 cents. Is that true? If so, I’d be happy to try my best to remember to come over here and find a link whenever I shop at Amazon. There’s no way for me to earn a rebate on it (that I know of anyway) and my favorite bargain hunter, not to mention blogger, may as well be the one.

  2. ‘Tis true that you’re “cookie”ed to my site once you’ve clicked through, so theoretically I should get a commission even if you buy something else. (I’m not saying this happens on purpose, but I know of cases where that hasn’t been true. May have to do with, say, if an item in your cart had a cookie for a different site.) And you are ravishingly pretty. 😉

  3. No longer available. Darn. I must admit I was buying it for my husband so it might be for the best….

  4. No longer available, BUT, my ‘Invisible Hand’ in Firefox showed me that it’s just $20 at Walmart. And with the free site-to-store, worth it. For my husband to shoot my kids in the backyard. Because that’s the kind of family we have.

  5. They must be back in stock! i just ordered three for my nephews. Thank you!

  6. BOOM, headshot. Thanks for the tip! The Nerf Vulcan was last year’s Christmas gift. Nate’s been asking for this one.
