Need a space heater?

I work from home, you know. And here in Georgia it doesn’t get all that cold very often, but let me tell you: my office is the furthest room in the house from the thermostat, plus I have two outside doors and a window (all of which are drafty), and when it gets cold here, my office is chilly. A couple of years ago, my husband went out and bought me this portable DeLonghi radiator because he’s nice and he didn’t want me to freeze to death. It’s a nice little unit—it warms the room quickly, and can be set to turn on and off automatically. At $50 (the current Amazon price) it’s not terribly expensive, either.

But if you want one of those today, you’re in luck! Today the same heater is a Bonus Deal of the Day at Best Buy (scroll down the page to find it) at just $34.99 and free shipping. If you have a room that could use a little help staying warm, this is a good deal on a really decent little heater.

Alternatively, I guess you (or I) could buy a less drafty house. But this seems a lot less complicated.

  1. I have 3 of these (I try not to use my awfully expensive electric furnace unless it’s really cold). They’ve held up well…I think I’m on my 5th winter with them now.

  2. I have two DeLonghi heaters, one oil-filled like this, one convection. They’re both very well-designed and well-made. Big thumb up on DeLonghi.
