Friends don’t let friends be frizzy

Okay, so, here’s where I confess that Frizz-Ease isn’t my favorite brand of anti-frizz stuff… more like, second tier. If I run out of my favorite stuff, I use it. If I need to buy stuff for my daughter (to keep her from using my more expensive stuff, ahem), I buy it. And I also fully admit that my hair is pretty difficult, so maybe if you’re not quite as hair-challenged as I am, this stuff may be fine for you.

That said, right now Amazon has a $3 Frizz-Ease coupon available which may make your chosen product dirt cheap.

And now that I’m looking, I see that this includes the Moisture Barrier Hairspray, which—granted, I rarely use hairspray, but sometimes I do, like when I straighten my hair and have to go to An Event, or something—is my hairspray of choice. So there you go. Clip the coupon, buy via Subscribe & Save for free shipping, enjoy.

  1. So now you have to tell us, what is your favorite brand for beating down the frizz? They apparently stopped making my favorite, so I’m on the hunt now.

  2. I’m on the hunt, Jen, because I bought a stash of Tigi Catwalk Curls Rock Curl Amplifier when they changed the formula (bought the original formula when I found it, due to widespread comments about the reformulation being terrible), but once I use that up…??? I really like a lot of the Davines products (they’re what my stylist uses) but they’re so spendy. The hunt continues….

  3. I also liked Curls Rock before the formula change. Currently using Deva. Don’t love it. Pantene has been the best so far, I think, but don’t love that either. Curly girls have it so tough!

  4. Ugh. I’m an in-betweeny. Just wavy enough to be perpetually frizzy, and nothing seems to reduce frizz unless I A) apply so much smoothing stuff it looks like I dipped my head in olive oil; or B) apply so much styling product it’s like I shellacked my head. I just go with the frizz, phooey.

  5. Oddly enough…. I have some Aveda straightening stuff that seems to be really good for making curls smooth…. but I’m definitely wavy and not curly.

    And I like biosilk.

And I just got a Josie Moran Argan oil sampler in my ipsy glam bag…. We will see how that works out. I keep forgetting to use it on my hair but it is a miracle on my cuticles….
