Paging Anne of Green Gables fans

Did you know that you can snag a 13-book Anne of Green Gables collection for Kindle for just $1.99? That’s crazy! (It includes 11 Anne books written by Lucy Maud Montgomery, plus Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights just for good measure.) What a wonderful (and inexpensive) way to introduce your kiddo to this timeless series.

I pink puffy heart Anne. I might buy these for me.

  1. Done. Kate will want to read these someday…

  2. And I snagged.

  3. Awesomesauce!

I bought these for my 8 year old, who loved the first two Anne books and got a Kindle from Santa this year.

Accidentally had it sent to my Kindle instead of hers, though — do you know how to rectify this, oh wise and pretty one?

  4. Mir – just FYI I don’t see Anne of Windy Poplars or Ingleside on there! Still a great deal, but I don’t think the two there are available digitally at this point…

  5. I do actually know how to rectify that, Jan! Just go into “Your Account” and then “Manage Your Kindle” and you will be able to find your purchase and select the “Actions” drop-down to send it to her Kindle instead of yours. Voila!

(I know this because I am forever purchasing stuff for my kids and accidentally sending them to my own Kindle. I feel you.)

  6. Laura, thank you for pointing that out… I was in a hurry to post it and didn’t look too hard at the list. My bad.

  7. Love it. Bought them.

  8. AAHHH! This is perfect! My daughter is reading the first one now! Thank you!

  9. AAHHH! This is perfect! My daughter is reading the first one now! Thank you!

  10. How do I get it so hers is listed as a Kindle I can deliver to? Right now, only mine is listed.

  11. Directions here, Jan. HTH!

  12. I only looked because I would like the remaining two for my kindle – I have all the others!

  13. If you do a search, both (actually all) of the books are available free on the sites that make no-longer-copyrighted books available. The Amazon ones may be better formatted, and $1.99 is *almost* free.

  14. Books AND shoes! Mir, you are the bestest! I love me some Anne-with-an-e.

  15. Between you and your helpful reader Karen R., I have suddenly found a use for my Nook! Project Gutenberg is full of free delicious classics. And my nook is full of Anne. (http://www.gutenberg.org)
