I’ve spent most of today alternately listening to/reading the news and staying as far away from the news as possible. It just seems like… a very bad week for humanity. I don’t know.
Shopping in light of everything else going on feels ridiculous. But sometimes you need a diversion.
So here you go, Minecraft addicts (mine is playing in the other room right now): The LEGO Minecraft micro-set is back in stock at Amazon—at the full retail cost of $35, yes—and for those of you who were dying to find it before Christmas when it was nearly impossible to get, maybe this is good news. (And yes, I paid full price for one. The boychild loves it, so as a rare splurge it was a good investment to my mind.)
If you’re thinking about getting into Minecraft, yourself, or you have a patient older child who doesn’t believe YouTube is the only educational avenue available, you might also want to pick up Minecraft for Dummies, which is currently just $5.86.
Personally, I prefer a blank stare when my kid wants to talk about Minecraft, but there you go.
And on top of all the news, you get a tornado near-ish to you. Eek!
Thank you!
