Coffeeeeeeee

Back in the days when I was too poor to justify the expense of a coffeemaker, but I still, y’know, really needed coffee, I would comb through the Sunday paper inserts for a code to use at Gevalia so that I could get a free coffeemaker. Ah, the good ol’ days.

Maybe you need a backup machine. Or maybe you can’t afford a new one right now. Or maybe you’re just smart and pretty and figure why pay for one if you don’t have to. Whatever the reason, hey, a free machine is a free machine. Right now Gevalia is offering a deal for a free coffeemaker and mug along with your first auto-delivery of coffee; you pick two kinds of coffee for $15, and they throw in the stainless steel programmable machine and the travel mug for free.

Don’t really want monthly auto-delivery? No problem; you can cancel as soon as you get your goodies. But their coffee is really quite good, so you might want to keep it. (If you’re not huge on coffee, they have tea, as well.)

  1. Programmable would be a step up in the world.
How does Gevalia rate in the fair/free trade world? Does anyone know?

    • Anna, I found this but admittedly it’s kind of vague. They’re not rated on GoodGuide, either (not that they’re bad, just that they’re not rated). So… I’m not sure.

  2. Oh, Mir… I love you. We don’t drink coffee but like to have it for guests. We’d done this offer years back but the carafe cracked last year & we’ve been too cheap to buy another coffee maker. 😉

  3. Thanks for doing the research! I am not typically one to make a big deal about that, but this is one place I’ve managed to stick to fair trade, so I was just curious.

  4. Go my coffee, mug, and machine today! Thanks, Mir!

  5. Either the website or my computer wouldn’t let me process this the other day, and now that it’s working the offer seems no longer valid. Drat drat drat!!!
