Where did Wednesday go??

I seem to be missing a day from this week. Has anyone seen it…?

Oh, well. Hey, we can do Kohlsday just as easily on Thursday, right? Right.

There’s plenty of Bonus Buys to be had, plus everyone gets automatic free shipping on $75+ and earns $10 Kohls Cash for every $50 spent. Kohls charge card holders can also use code SAVEBIG30 for an additional 30% off, plus code SHIPPINGMVC will ship any size order for free. No Kohls card? You can still use code CELEBRATE for an additional 15% off.

I am on the hunt for a new go-to plain t-shirt, if anyone has any suggestions. I used to love the Old Navy Perfect Tee, but they changed it. Then I started buying the Juniors So brand ones at Kohls (I know; I should not be buying Juniors, and for my trouble I had to buy a large rather than a small, but whatever…), but then they changed those, too. I see the Apt. 9 plain Ts are on sale at Kohls now… anyone have any experience with them? I might give ’em a whirl.

  1. Target makes the best plain tees IMO – I live in the vintage v-neck. soft and broken-in without being sheer or sloppy. and cheap!

  2. I have not tried the apt 9 ones… But I find that the Sonoma ones tend to shrink in a way that makes them shorter. I gave up and started collecting Lands End shirts. They are a bit pricey for a t-shirt, but they never seem to shrink and the hold their shape well. It helps that I live near a store so I can shop the catalog returns racks and get them cheaper :-). I decided that for all the times I had to replace a cheap Kohl’s one, I might as well just buy the Lands End ones since they last longer.

  3. Eddie Bauer makes really good tees. I buy the basic version at Sam’s for not much money. They are soft and not thin material. (Yes, I buy clothes at Sam’s Club.)

  4. I wouldn’t recommend the Apt. 9 brand. I have some of their t-shirts, and the cotton is so thin that one shirt developed a hole after only a couple of weeks. Now it’s a sleep shirt.
The Eddie Bauer t-shirts, though, those are fantastic.

  5. I LOVE pretty much everything from Ann Taylor Loft and have a couple comfy yet cute tees from there that have held up well. Good luck on your search!
