This contest post will stay at the top of the page from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday, November 24th, 2015. Read on to find out about today’s prize and enter to win!

YGO-tweensceneIf you know me at all, you know that I’ve always had a pet peeve about “girls’ toys” and “boys’ toys.” It just… ugh. Play with what you like, kids! So I’m telling you up front that anyone who asks for the “girl toy” or the “boys DVDs” is going to get Very Stern Eyebrows from over here.

That said, we have two prize options today (for girls, boys, dogs, cats, anyone): First we have two Yu-Gi-Oh! DVD sets (14 discs in total), Zexal: Season 2 and Season 2 of the regular series. These are both new releases and that’s pretty much all I can tell you because Yu-Gi-Oh! confuses me greatly.

The second prize option is a Pretties Tween Scene Lena doll from The One World Doll Project. Yes, these are articulated, 16″ tall dolls, but what I love about them (so much) is that all the Pretties are about emphasizing being smart and kind and inclusive rather than just “I have a new outfit!” Lena here, her nickname (according to her “profile”) is “The Wiz Kid” because she “makes smart cool.” Rock on, Lena. Even if you are a doll and not a real person. The doll set I have to give away is Lena in the pictured outfit, plus an extra top and a book bag, and the box says she’s suitable for ages 3+.

Want to win one of these two prizes? Of course you do! First, go review the contest rules and regulations, then come on back here and leave a comment on this post today (Tuesday, November 24th, 2015) by 8:00 pm Eastern (that’s 5:00 pm Pacific) telling me which prize you want, DVDs or doll for a chance to win. The winners will be pulled (using my fancy contest plugin winner-picking thingie) and announced tonight, because tomorrow I really need to get this giant box out of my office (no exaggeration; tomorrow will be fun).

Ready? Go!

  1. Yu-Gi-Oh! DVD’s, please.

  2. I would love to win that doll SO MUCH! My daughter would LOVE her! (love, love, love) She is at the age when she is playing with dolls all of the time, and she wants to pretend that all of her dolls are her. But she is also (sadly) noticing that most of the dolls in the store do not have dark skin like her (or if they do, the black dolls are lightly tanned). I love that this doll has dark skin just like her and dark hair and is fashionable with extra accessories! She would fall in love!!
