Tax Days savings on your favorites

In addition to their regular daily sales, today (and all weekend) 6pm.com is doing something different—they’re offering an array of products under $50 in celebration of your tax return. (Personally, my tax return wasn’t much to celebrate, but I appreciate their enthusiasm, regardless.)

The bad news is that the deals don’t go live until 9:00 Eastern (a little less than an hour from now); the good news is that you can click through to the eligible items already, their prices just aren’t correct. See something you think you’ll want? Toss it in your basket—the price should adjust when the sale goes live.

Not a bad way to kick off Friday the 13th, eh?

Oh, baby—big savings

Have your own little bundle of joy and soggy diapers at home? Preparing for a baby shower? Either way, you’re probably shopping for all sorts of baby things, and today’s the day to save at Amazon on all your purchases. Today (Thursday, April 12th, 2012) only, shop their qualifying assortment of baby items and you’ll save $10 on every $50 spent with coupon code BABY2012, up to a total savings of $100!

Most of the eligible items are already on sale, and the more you spend, the more you save. They’ve got everything from the big stuff (strollers, breast pumps, highchairs) right on down to swaddlers and feeding accessories. I love that you could pick up a $300 stroller and bam, you’ve saved $60 just like that.

Also, I’d just like to say that I’m a wee bit bitter that diaper bags are so cool looking, nowadays. Back in my day, we didn’t have these options that looked like couture purses, you know. I carried a plain nylon bag from Lands’ End and I liked it. Whippersnappers.

Your Wednesday dose of Kohls

I love how y’all remind me when I forget that it’s Wednesday and there needs to be a Kohls post. You are definitely my people.

So, what’s up over there today? Let’s see: It’s time to redeem your Kohls Cash from the last earning period, and everyone gets free shipping on their $75+ order, automatically. There’s all kinds of “Power Pricing” all over the site, too. Everyone can use coupon code SMS9873 for an additional 20% off any order, too.

Sadly, there doesn’t appear to be a valid free shipping code right now, but don’t forget that you can always return items for free at your local store. Have I ever thrown something extra into my order to get free shipping and then run it back to the store later? I plead the 5th. Just sayin’ that sometimes that’s easier than braving the store to shop, is all.

Free shipping and extra savings

It’s a good day to shop at Children’s Place—today only (Monday, April 9th, 2012), get free shipping on every order, automatically.

Combine that with coupon code SAVINGS42 for an additional 15% off, and the fact that your rotten children sprouted several inches overnight is a little easier to bear.

Okay, it’s still hard to bear. But it’s easier to afford, at least.

For the hardcore bacon lover

So this morning I sat down with my coffee and clicked over to the Target Daily Deals, as I do ‘most every morning, and there I see an adorable $5 boys’ shirt that says “I heart bacon.” The heart is formed with a fried egg, and the words are written in—what else?—bacon.

Is that enough for me to whip out my credit card and buy one for my bacon-loving boychild? Absolutely. At $5 and with free shipping, I cannot resist.

However, then I see that this shirt is… scented.

I’m still buying it. But I can’t stop laughing.

Eyes are overrated

What parent doesn’t love the opportunity to say, “You’ll shoot your eye out, kid” to their offspring? Or, in this case, I guess you could say “You’ll poke your eye out, kid,” instead. Today’s Daily Easter toy deal at Target is a double-sided Darth Maul Lightsaber for just $9.99 shipped (half price, free shipping).

Just think of all the damage that thing could do! Your kids will be in heaven… right up until the detached retinas and/or scratched corneas.

(Why no, no one else have ever mentioned that I’m sort of a curmudgeon, why do you ask?)

Stock up on wipes, baby

Whether you have a baby/toddler in the house or have just discovered that baby wipes are handy for everything from quick clean-ups in the car to getting food out of the carpet (really!), you’ll want to check out this deal at Amazon: Right now the 400-count Huggies Simply Clean Fragrance Free Baby Wipes are in stock and down to $9.94, already a decent price. But if you’re part of Amazon Mom, you’ll get a 20% Subscribe & Save discount (plus free shipping), bringing it down to $7.95 shipped. And if you’re eligible for coupons on Amazon, you can clip the $1 coupon to bring it down to just under $7. That’s under 2 cents per wipe!

I actually use these for make-up removal (among other things). Please don’t tell my (oh-so-grown-up) children that I’m still buying baby wipes.

Start the week with shoe deals

If you have a hankering to do a little shoe shopping to ease your way into April (and really, April? How did that happen??), look no further than today’s deals at 6pm.com. Take up to 70% off Crocs and Keens today as you prepare for the summer, or shop the rest of their spotlight deals.

I am discovering that my poor youngest kiddo has landed in an awkward place for Crocs sizing; most of the Youth styles only go up to size 3, but then the Adult ones that go down to M4/W6 tend to be… pink. Hmph. I’ll keep looking….

Happy birthday, Disney Store!

Can you believe that Disney Store is celebrating its 25th anniversary today? Those crazy kids don’t look a day over 18.

To celebrate, they’re offering 25% off nearly everything with coupon code HAPPY25, but it’s good today (March 28th, 2012) only. That’s stackable with coupon code SHIPTODAY for free shipping on your $75+ order, too.

I always think it’s nice when someone celebrates a milestone with a present for someone else. Thanks, Disney!

More Easter goodies

If you didn’t get everything you needed yesterday, here’s another shot: Go shop Oriental Trading for various Easter goodies—including great prices on candy—and any size order ships for free. Just use coupon code FREEFW52! Spend $59+ and you’ll also get a $10 gift card for a future purchase.

Did you know they make little Reese’s peanut butter eggs? I didn’t. I may be in trouble.
