Wow, um, it’s nearly dinnertime. Today completely got away from me—I apologize. And here you’ve been, lurking around, just wanting a deal tip or two! And I’ve been neglecting you. And rhyming. (By accident.) Tomorrow will be better, I think. In the meantime, let’s just pretend today never happened.
But if you’ve been hoping for a new free shipping code for Lands’ End, you’re in luck! Use code GIFT with PIN 4928 to ship your entire order for free, regardless of size.
(That almost makes up for the fact that I got a parking ticket this afternoon….)

Regular readers will recall that I gave away an Oral-B Pulsonic a few months ago. It was one of my most popular contests, probably because we all get told by our dentists that we should be using sonic toothbrushes for maximum dental benefit, etc., but those of us who are terminally cheap are loathe to spend the dough on one.
Well, if you’ve been wanting a sonic brush, now’s the time to get it: Amazon currently has the Oral-B Pulsonic on sale for $43.62 shipped, and Oral-B is currently offering a $15 rebate. $28.62 for a highly-rated sonic brush is… well, that’s really good.
I’m pretty sure your dentist would approve.

Today is the last day of the big Eddie Bauer Down Event, which means that if you want to scoop up a fabulous lightweight vest for $20 off the normal price, today’s the day to do it.
I never had a piece of down clothing before about a year ago—I’m allergic to down, so I figured I couldn’t wear one. But it turns out that trying to sleep with my nose pressed into a down pillow is really different than just wearing a down jacket (which turned out not to be a problem at all). And I was astonished at how warm it is, without bulk. Why didn’t anyone tell me? Oh, wait. Maybe they did. Whatever.
Make the deal even sweeter: Coupon code STHLVGNV8 will give you 15% off and free shipping, too.

So maybe you went ahead and got yourself a fancypants photo printer. You thought you were pretty slick, huh? But then you realized how much photo paper costs, and suddenly you were feeling decidedly less slick.
Sorry about that.
Hey, good news! Right now at Buy.com, you can snag 100 sheets of 4×6 photo paper for just $5.99 shipped! That should keep you going for quite a while.
Just, um… keep the paper out of reach of children. Ask me how I know this.

I have been systematically cutting high-fructose corn syrup from my family’s diet, lately, and wow is it astounding how many places it hides. Goodness. Now, I do a lot of my own baking, so for the most part, I can easily make some of the items that tend to be the worst offenders.
But oh how my children miss Nutrigrain bars. And truthfully, I miss them, too—they’re an easy snack for them to grab, and it’s not something I can easily replicate.
But the organic fru-fru bars tend to cost about $5/box, and I don’t miss them that much.
So I was just poking around on Amazon and found these Nature’s Choice Multigrain Bars on sale. If you sign up for Subscribe & Save, they’re $30.75 for 12 boxes; that’s about $2.56/box, or roughly half what they cost at my supermarket.
Not only are they corn syrup-free, they’re also wheat-free and completely vegan. That makes them an ideal snack for kids with food allergies, too.
Now, which flavor do I order? I’m leaning towards cherry….

I always like it when someone offers me bargains as a thank-you. That’s speaking my language, right there.
If it’s your language, too, you might want to check out the Thank You Sale at Catherines; they’re offering 40% off just about everything (reductions already taken). Coupon code 776902207 should give you an additional 10% off, too.
Sale ends tomorrow. (After that, I guess they just don’t appreciate you anymore.)

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: When my kids start talking about how they’ve gotten the magic jewel and unlocked the hidden door and found the bonus winged lemur or whatever on their Nintendo DS games, my eyes glaze over. I’m just not much of a gaming person. But when it comes time for a road trip and the children are blessedly silent in the back seat while they play those games? Well, my attitude changes a bit. Long live the hand-held video game!
Right now Amazon is offering Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen for the DS for just $19.98 (half off). I have no idea why it’s cool, but I do know that it’s highly-rated and fairly involved, which means it should buy you quite a lot of happy silence, indeed.

Good morning! It’s a beautiful day here at my house, not the least of which because my beautiful children are still asleep. Now that’s what I’m talking about, Saturday.
Here’s some deals you won’t want to miss this weekend:
It’s Restaurant.com time again! Through November 10th, 2008, use coupon code PRESENT to save 60% on your purchase. That’ll get you a $25 dining certificate for just $4, and if that doesn’t sound good to you, well, I think you’re on the wrong website.
This weekend at Overstock, you can take $20 off your $400+ order, which might be useful if you’re planning a larger purchase. Overstock has also brought back their Toys For Tots Store, where you can shop their bargains for toys to be donated directly to this very worthy cause. Do check it out; it’s one of my favorite holiday features anywhere, that they offer this.
It’s time for the semi-annual sale blowout at Deep Discount! Through November 24th, 2008, use coupon code DDAF to save 25% on your entire purchase. Shipping is always free, and this is the time to buy those DVDs and CDs to fill stockings, or that box set you’ve had your eye on.
Feeling chilly? Outerwear’s on sale at Old Navy this week.
Here’s a great deal on infant diapers: Through Amazon, DAB Nutrition is offering a box of 264 1-2 Huggies for $17.65 plus $6.95 shipping. The shipping is the same for two boxes, which then works out to less than $22/box.
That should keep you busy for a while. Or in diapers for a while. Either way.

Well I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling like this is the end of a verrrrrry long week. (A good week, but a long one.) A little bit of retail therapy will wind things up nicely, I think.
Let’s see what the Amazon Friday Sale has in store for us today!
I don’t know if this is going to be a new Friday Sale tradition, or what, but I am digging the proliferation of over-the-top party sandals. Because you never know when you’ll need some fuchsia snakeskin shoes, people. (But at $34.49 for Charles David, I’m not arguing.)
There are some great digital picture frame options in the electronics section—your best quality-to-savings ratios are going to be with either the Philips 7-inch metal frame ($89.99) or the Philips 10.2-inch white frame ($139.99). Remember: You can certainly get cheaper frames, but the quality does suffer on the lower end. Philips is generally considered the top-of-the-line in this technology.
It’s that time of year again—time to break out the cheap flannel sheets!
I love the idea of a pair of storage ottomans like this, for just under $50. One for each kid! I mean, one to put each kid in. Erm, I mean, one for each kid to put their stuff in. Maybe.
This is a great price on a 3-cup Cuisinart processor ($44.99 shipped), and is a good choice if you want the smaller model. (If you have more than a couple of people, I’d suggest holding out for the larger one.)
Real silverware, just kid-sized! That one’s a great baby gift, by the way… and at $10.99 you really can’t go wrong. If you have a bunch of baby showers coming up, buy a few and tuck ‘em away.
Amazon is launching a new feature today, too, which is the 4-Day Baby Super Sale, in case you need other baby items. Those deals will be around all weekend, of course.
And something extra super wonderful has happened in the Amazon Friday Five, today. One of the five available albums is the soundtrack to Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog! I don’t think I’d be going too far out on a limb if I called that a rather awesometastic way to end the week. (That is totally a word. Is too.)
Have a great day, everyone!

Through November 10th, 2008, you can take 20% off of any one regularly-priced item at Domestications with coupon code D8N20AFF.
They have all sorts of things, and of course you’d maximize the savings buy buying an entire bed set, or something, but I can give you one personal recommendation: Their fleece blankets for $19.99 any size (and that’s the regular price, so the coupon would work on those) are quite nice. That’s what we use in the winter under quilts to stay toasty. (I probably wouldn’t buy a twin, at that price, but that’s a bargain for a queen or a king.)
