Note that it’s the SMALL iced coffee. I went to DD this morning and ordered a medium iced coffee without thinking about it. When she rang up the charge, I was surprised because I’d wanted the deal. She just looked at me. So I asked if I could have two small iced coffees instead. She poured my medium into a small and then the rest plus some extra into a second small cup. Then she rang up the charge, which was again too high. I was surprised, and she explained that the deal was only on the first iced coffee. I was really annoyed that she hadn’t thought to explain any of this beforehand, especially since I was clearly trying to figure out the best deal… so the manager came over and told her to ring up the two iced coffees separately. Phew.
Once the coffees kick in, I may be able to express myself more clearly…
