Saturday deals

Goooooood morning! It’s raining. Again. It’s excellent stay-at-home-in-your-jammies shopping weather.

Did you miss that last Amazon promotion on maple syrup? It’s baaaaaack, just in time for pancake season. (Yes, pancakes have a season. Hush.) Use coupon code BASCOM35 for 35% off the already-reduced price, and buy via Subscribe & Save for an additional 15% off and free shipping.

6pm.com is killing me with the deals this weekend… Clarks, Nine West, Tsubo, Reef… I’m not looking. Much.

Need a dart board? Looks like the one available in today’s Target Daily Deals is pretty nice, and just $20 shipped.

It’s finally here, after a month of truly annoying commercials on television: Today is Shop for a Cause at Macy’s, which means money going to feed the hungry while you reap big savings. See the site for more details on how to save, both online and in-store.

There’s a Super Weekend Sale going on at Toys ‘R’ Us, and y’all know I would rather stick a fork in my eye than step into the actual brick and mortar store, so these online sales are handy.

The holiday shop is officially open over at The Company Store, and I see some new items in the clearance section, as well. Code RADIO is still working for free shipping on any order!

That should keep you busy for a little while. Now if you’ll excuse me, my daughter has a Halloween dish-to-pass party to attend tonight, and we need to go make some delicious eyeballs….

  1. I am a *only real maple* kinda gal, but even at those lower prices, I can’t swing for that at this time. Good to know about though! DO share the eyeball recipe – that sounds perfect for my boys!!

  2. I had to check the prices so I could laugh … we have about 5 L (more than a gallon) of maple syrup in the pantry in 16oz cans, and I think it cost about $40 total …. the advantages of getting it from an old neighbour of my husband’s grandfather (his farm) in Quebec.

There’s nothing like it! And nothing like having spare cans to give as gifts to those without connections 🙂

  3. Eyeballs? sounds fun. The big item in the school store is the eyeball pencil topper. If only the kids would just leave it on their pencil and not try for the monocle look….

  4. Heh, the “truly annoying commercials” made me think how I often look forward to a sale . . not to SHOP, but so I can stop seeing the ads!

  5. THANK you! 😉

  6. Thanks!! I just ordered mine yesterday. I got a bunch of free cans of Quaker Oaks oatmeal a couple of weeks ago, and found a Utube video recipe for making granola that uses maple syrup. Now I can make granola! Here’s the link if anyone else wants to try it:
