Well, whether it should or not, here we are: Happy 2010, and it seems fitting to kick off the new year with an Amazon Friday Sale, no?

Nothing says “this is going to be our best year ever” like a two-pack of brown Snuggie imitations, am I right? Stay warm in 2010; that’s my motto!

That awesome 10-piece Earth Pan set is back again ($115), probably because my other motto is “don’t eat Teflon.” I mean, I’m just guessing. (If you prefer to eschew the whole non-stick thing, check out this KitchenAid 10-piece brushed stainless set for the same price; great reviews.)

Aaaaaand… okay, the Friday Sale is boring me this week. Sigh.

If you’re a Scrapper (not to be confusing with “being scrappy”), you might be interested in today’s Gold Box Deal: A Cricut along with all the YourStory binder/laminator. Being craftily impaired I only sort of understand what these things do, but I’ve been led to believe that it’s something good.

The year-end Lightning Deals in Toys are still going on (even though I’m pretty sure the year ended…), so those might be worth watching throughout the day.

And right now there’s over 800 MP3 albums for just $5 each, so today might be a good day to fill up that new iPod Santa brought you. Just a friendly suggestion.

Today is the last “day of joy” over at 6pm.com, so I’ll peek over there at 9:00 Eastern to see if it’s something spectacular, like it was on the first day. (I hope it’s a pony. Preferably one that poops glitter. For $5.)
