We did it—we survived 2010! (I don’t know about you, but my new year was ushered in with a lot of stated and implied “good riddance!”s about the previous year. Heh.)
Leave it to Dillard’s to make my new year bright—they’re having their one-day clearance, today, with an additional 50% off everything that was already on sale. [Edited to add: The site is being a little hinky—high traffic, no doubt—so here’s a tip: Go to any section and then page through until you start seeing red “Price reflects all discounts” text under the price; everything from there forward will be sale stuff.]
I do love Dillard’s. And 2011; so far I’m digging 2011 just fine.
Dillards has the worst website! They are constantly down/overwhelmed, and if after trying and trying you’re finally able to put something in the shopping cart, nothing is the price it’s supposed to be (sale price?!). Grrrr Frustrating!
The physical store in my town was a madhouse. I know how you feel about having to leave your house to go shopping, Mir, but my best friend’s husband? Now works in the women’s shoe department.
I am in so much trouble.
I did get a pair of super cute black patent flats for $15, marked down from $65, woo woo! I then, justified a pair of full price wedges with the savings. Whoops.
