A rainbow of fractions

I’m totally digging this Learning Resources Rainbow Fraction Tiles set, not the least of which because it’s currently just $3.95 shipped if you have Amazon Prime. What a great visual way to help kids better understand fractions, in the classroom and out.

This would be a great teacher/classroom gift, by the way. And the holidays aren’t that far off. Just sayin’.

  1. Rats! My prime ran out two days ago!! Blah.

  2. You rock, Mir. I just grabbed two of them, for my kids’ 1st and 2nd grade teachers. Yay!

  3. Darn it! I missed this one because I was…volunteering in my kid’s classroom. Bah!

  4. Drats! Back up to $10.81.

  5. $10.80 now. Drats.

  6. Hm, it says $10.81?

  7. Already up to $10.81

  8. Gone at that price.

  9. I signed up for “Amazon Mom” and got three free months of prime. Apparently for every $25 of diapers and such you order they extend it…though my kids are long past that stage so I’ll just enjoy my 3 months and decide what to do later…

  10. Rachel, I’ve had my Mom Prime extended for all sorts of things that aren’t diapers (my kids are long past that stage as well). Don’t assume you’ll only get three months! I’ve gotten it extended for things like applesauce, probiotics, vitamins… just look for the bar across the product page telling you that it’s eligible to extend your Prime trial. 🙂

  11. Drats! It’s gone. But I really, really appreciate you keeping your eyes out for Christmas gifts already. (for teachers, kids, friends, etc.) I am determined to get my shopping done before Christmas Eve for the first time ever and I’m hoping to do all – or at least most of it- online. (If I’m successful, it will be thanks to you.)
