‘Tis the season to use up all the tape

If you’re wrapping a lot of presents—or if you have children, because who knows what they do with all of the tape they “disappear”—then you need tape. Good tape, too, because every time you buy the no-name tape you end up swearing at it later on when it doesn’t stick. (Uh, maybe that’s just me.)

So get yourself some Scotch tape and leave any present-wrapping frustration to family politics or your dog feeling like she should lay down on the wrapping paper. (That one also might just be me.) If you have Prime shipping at Amazon, or if you need a filler to get up to $25 on a Super Saver Shipping order, you can snag this 3-pack of Scotch Magic Tape for just $2 right now. Heck, if you need a whole lot of tape, they’re also running a $5 off $25+ Scotch promo right now.

I… uh… oh, dear. I might need this. Santa? Are you listening? [Edited to add: Oh hey this is coming up in the Lightning Deals in a few minutes.]

  1. wow, that was fast…Dang Amazon price changers…It is showing as just over $5 for me 🙁

  2. The price is coming up as $5.09 for me. Bummer!

  3. I think using the words “might need” there is showing a lot of restraint. 😉

  4. Is it paranoid to believe that Amazon reads your posts, Mir and changes pricing before they get the rush?

  5. Even with the lighting deal its still $2 a roll for tape. The $5 for 3 rolls is still a better deal.

    Thanks Mir!

Now if you could just post a really cheap deal on a Kindle Fire I’ll be done shopping for this year.

  6. What Emily said! LOL! I was just thinking the same thing.
The Pretty Mir: “Here’s a great deal at Amazon, go get it!”
    ….30 seconds later….
Amazon Minion: “That Mir chick just posted our deal, up the price before any of her readers see it!”

  7. FYI, they have a 3pack of the gift wrap tape (purple packaging) for $3.99, which is a better deal (and a better product, IMHO)!
