If you’re in the market for an iPod Touch and haven’t bought one yet, you might want to take a look at a calendar, you procrastinator you may be delighted to learn that putting it off means you can now snag this 8 GB Touch at Amazon for just $190, and you’ll get a $30 MP3 Store credit for free. Then you can take your new toy and load it up with music!

This is the latest version model, which means any savings at all is pretty rare. You’re basically getting it for $40 off ($10 off + $30 credit), so that’s not bad.

  1. Question: MP3 would not be compatible with the I-pod, correct? So, what you are getting is a $30 credit for downloadable stuff that you would not be able to download to the ipod you just bought?

I still think it’s a good deal, because at Target last night, they were selling the 8 gig touch for $199.

  2. Good question, Holly! Don’t worry, anything you buy from the MP3 Store at Amazon will work fine with your iPod; you use the Amazon Downloader to get your purchases, and then iTunes somehow magically converts those files for use on your device. Don’t ask me how it works, because I have no idea, I just know that it does. 🙂

  3. Hmmm, very cool! Glad I asked! 🙂
